Description
I was born in Australia, with a German mum and a Croatian dad. I’ve grown up with a very hands-on lifestyle and have always been encouraged to try everything at least once which has led me to a variety of productive hobbies such as crochet, soccer (football), reading, art, baking, customising clothing, swimming, camping, hiking, cooking, all of which bring me joy. Both my parents are teachers and so I have grown up with the understanding that every person in our lives is someone that we can help and in turn they can teach us something new about ourselves. In my travels I am looking to make a positive impact on other people and places and through these new connections and experiences learn more about myself and grow as a person.
I am currently at Uni, studying Tourism and Event Management, and trying to travel as much as my schedule will allow.

Over the course of my teenage years, I had the opportunity to experience a range of jobs that have helped me develop different values.
Apricot cutting; staying motivated and focused on a monotonous task.
Baby sitting; focus on others needs in a caring capacity.
Tutoring; finding the ways to communicate clearly and effectively.
Hospitality (bartending/waitressing); staying calm and de-escalating tricky situations.
Bakery; talking to people.
Plant Nursery; giving support to customers and advising them on their queries.
Lifeguard; to take responsibility and to constantly stay alert and aware.
On top of all these job opportunities I have also gained a variety of skills in different areas of life, such as:
Repairing things on the property; starting at identifying the problem, planning and carrying out the solution using skills such as welding, soldering, tying knots, etc.
Creative pursuits; I have spent a lot time developing skills in the Arts including: poetry, painting, music, creative make-up, embroidery/sewing, and have dabbled in many more.
Massage; as a part of my year 12 schooling, I studied massage through a hands-on course and further theoretical study to understand the impact of massage, and practiced massage on the people of my community.
Languages; I speak English and German fluently, and have some understanding of Croatian.
I am always eager to learn new skills and am good at pulling on my previous experience in order to learn something quicker or more effectively.
