Description
My partner Seán and I have been travelling around Canada for the last four years, meeting great people and picking up a lot of hands-on experience. We’re now keen to explore New Zealand for our next adventure.
I grew up on a farm, so I’m very comfortable with physical work, animals, and rural life. I work as a special effects makeup artist. Seán has worked in landscaping and construction and really enjoys outdoor, practical work.
In our free time, you’ll usually find us outside ,hiking, climbing, and exploring as much as we can.

I grew up on a farm, so I’m very comfortable with hands-on, practical work, general maintenance, animal care, gardening, cleaning, and just getting stuck in where needed. I’m not afraid of hard work, early mornings, or getting dirty, and I learn new tasks quickly.
Seán has experience working in construction and landscaping, so he’s great with outdoor projects, building, digging, lifting, and improving spaces. He’s practical, reliable, and enjoys seeing a job well done.
We’re both adaptable, hardworking, and happy to help with a wide range of tasks. And as a bonus skill, Seán makes an excellent green curry, which tends to go down very well after a days work . :)

What else ...
Seán previously worked as a children’s teacher in Vietnam, which he really enjoyed and which has given him lots of patience, creativity, and experience working with kids. We both enjoy good conversations, shared meals, and the occasional board game.
We’re currently exploring New Zealand in our trusty RAV4, Paul, and loving the freedom that comes with slow travel and discovering new places along the way.
