Description
We are Julia and Tim, two nature and animal lovers who try to live more mindfully and eco-friendly. We both enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking, and enjoy being connected to nature.
We lived together in Freiburg for a year and a half, and now we are looking for new work and life projects to explore. Tim has worked in a forest kindergarten, while Julia is a physiotherapist currently completing her yoga teacher training. Tim is skilled in hands-on work and has helped friends and family with various projects. We both enjoy gardening and cooking delicious vegan dishes.
In the coming year, we look forward to spending even more time outside, discovering new places, and meeting new people. -

More details about your skills
In 2023, we spent two months traveling through Argentina, where we hitchhiked, explored the Andes and the jungle, and encountered many incredible animals. We camped in tents most of the time and met amazing people through Couchsurfing.
That same summer, we spent three weeks in Greece as camp counselors at a children’s and youth camp, where we helped set up the site, pitched tents, organized the kitchen, and contributed to the program for the young participants. A year later, we returned to the same place for two weeks to prepare for the next camp, gaining experience in a wide range of tasks, from building latrines with clay, painting a water tank, to re-laying paths.
We are excited to use Workaway to further develop and expand our skills, and we look forward to contributing our experiences in various practical and creative ways. -
