Description
Hello :)
I’m Julianna, 29, from Germany – currently taking a step back from structured work life to explore a more hands-on, meaningful, and connected way of living.
Over the past years, I’ve worked as a vocal and instrumental teacher, musician, wellbeing facilitator, and project manager in a software company focused on school development. Before that, I spent many years in the event and hospitality world, often leading teams and working closely with people in fast-paced environments.
While I value these experiences, I feel ready for a change – to slow down, spend more time in nature, and learn through doing rather than sitting behind a screen.
Through Workaway, I’m especially interested in learning practical skills like gardening, working with my hands, caring for animals, and experiencing community life. I’m curious about different ways of living and would love to be part of something where people support each other and share daily life.
I enjoy spending time in nature, cooking, reading, and practicing yoga and spinning. I also like sharing good food and meaningful conversations.
I would describe myself as open-minded, reliable, and motivated. I’m always happy to help and eager to learn new things.
I’m really looking forward to meeting new people, discovering different lifestyles, and finding a bit more clarity about what I want in life along the way. -

More details about your skills
I bring a mix of practical, creative, and people-focused skills from different fields:
Hospitality & Teamwork
With 8 years of experience in the event and hospitality industry, I feel very comfortable in fast-paced environments. I’m used to working in teams, handling pressure, and staying organized even when things get busy. I enjoy creating a positive atmosphere and making sure people feel welcome and taken care of.
Teaching & Music
I have been teaching singing, piano, and violin for over 13 years, working with both children and adults. I love helping people learn in a way that is fun, personal, and motivating. I also worked as a vocal coach at an acting school.
Music is a big part of my life, and I enjoy using it to connect with others and support self-expression.
Wellbeing & Facilitation
For the past 4 years, I have been working in the field of wellbeing and personal development. I design and facilitate group sessions that support emotional awareness, self-regulation, and personal growth.
This includes breathwork sessions, body-based practices, and creative work with voice and music.
Project Management & Organization
For the last 3 years, I’ve been working as a project manager in a software company focused on school development. I coordinate between different people and needs, keep things organized, and make sure projects run smoothly. I enjoy bringing structure, clarity, and good communication into complex situations. -

Feedback
I was surrounded by kind, nature-loving people, and there was always delicious, healthy food.
Most of the time, I helped with the harvest, for example by picking berries and beans, or I supported with cooking.
There is always something to do, and you can choose tasks that match your strengths … read more
