Description
Hi! We are a family of three: my name is Luigi, my wife Camilla, and Chiara, our 9-month-old daughter. We also have a small dog named Maya.
We live in Cesena, a small town in the Emilia-Romagna region. From our home, the city center is within walking distance.
If you’d like to be a bit more independent, we also have a bicycle that you can use.
We live in a city in northern Italy. The city Is full of university students. Bologna can be reached in about one hour by train, and the nearest airport is a 30-minute drive away. Public transportation works well, and the bus stop is right in front of our house. In the area there are several parks where you can go for walks. The food here is excellent, especially pasta and meat. We are about 20 minutes from the sea.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We like to involve Workawayers in the daily life of our family and the local community. We often go for walks in the city center or in nearby parks, spend weekends at the seaside, organize family dinners or get-togethers with friends, and take part in local events (such as food festivals or fairs) whenever possible. We enjoy sharing simple moments like an aperitivo, a barbecue, or a short trip, to encourage exchange and mutual understanding.
Both my wife and I have lived abroad, so we know how important sharing is. For this reason, we would love to share the Italian language and culture, local traditions, and especially our cuisine. We can also share our experience of family life, how we organize everyday life with a small child, and give tips on getting around in Italy, using public transportation, and discovering the area.
Hosting people from other countries allows us to open our minds and learn about new cultures, traditions, and perspectives. We would like to improve our foreign languages, offer Chiara a multicultural environment from a very young age, and learn habits, recipes, and ways of living that are different from our own, creating an authentic and enriching exchange for everyone.

Help
We are looking for a cheerful and helpful person to give us a hand with Chiara, taking care of her for a few hours a day while my wife and I are at work. We are very flexible
If you like dogs, you could also take our dog Maya out for walks.
It would be perfect if she spoke both Spanish and English (or German), as we are comfortable with both languages.
Mornings would almost always be free (unless Chiara cannot go to nursery), and the au pair would take care of Chiara for a few hours in the afternoon or come with my wofe to do grocery and household shopping. We are looking for someone flexible with schedules and happy to tell us about her home country!

Accommodation
The house is spacious and bright, set over two floors, and it is a detached, independent home surrounded by a private garden. It was renovated less than a year ago, so all the spaces are new. There are several bedrooms and three bathrooms. You will have a private double bedroom with a window overlooking the garden. We also have Wi-Fi throughout the entire house.
Meals will always be provided. During the week we won’t be able to have lunch all together, but in the evening we will always be able to have dinner all together. In any case, you are free to eat and cook anything you find at home.”
What else ...
- In 45 minutes by bicycle, you can be lying on the beach.
- If you are interested in an Italian language course, we will take care of everything.
For any other questions or doubts, feel free to write to me!
