Hi, I’m Julia, a 32-year-old, grounded, and open-minded traveler who embraces an introvert's balance: I am highly active and love outdoor adventures, but I equally cherish my quiet moments alone. In 2025, I left my 9-to-5 accounting job to step outside my comfort zone and spend more time out in nature.

Since then, I’ve completed several inspiring Workaway projects in northern Europe.
Right now I spend a year in Canada, exploring this amazing country, the wildlife and the incredible scenery.

When I'm on the move, I love hiking, swimming, cross-country skiing, or being out in the elements. To recharge, I enjoy reading, practicing yoga, and spending peaceful time near water, which gives me a deep sense of calm and freedom. I am reliable, hardworking, and truly look forward to helping you with your project while enjoying a peaceful, authentic cultural exchange. 😊

Practical & DIY:
I love hands-on work. Back in Germany, I maintained my own house, gaining experience in painting, gardening, and sustainable DIY projects. Through my Workaway experiences, I’ve expanded these skills to include basic carpentry, terrace flooring, upcycling furniture, and general maintenance.

Hospitality & Caretaking:
I’m an experienced house- and petsitter and have managed Airbnb check-ins. Last winter I worked at the reception of a 4* hotel in Austria, which honed my hospitality and organizational skills. I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and I'm always happy to help out with daily household tasks or cooking a nice meal for the team/family.

Reliability & Mindset:
Having worked as an accountant for 10 years, I am naturally structured, reliable, and a great problem solver. I am physically fit, used to active outdoor tasks, and a fast learner who works well independently.

I’m particularly excited to learn more about advanced carpentry, farming and working with sleddogs!
