Hey, I'm Mai, 25 years old and from Germany. I love discovering new places and getting to know people and cultures from all over the world. Especially living in communities and sharing talks, laughs and skills with each other.
I also love dancing, singing and art in many forms, being outside and exploring nature. Right now I'm studying a masters program in cultural mediation.
What also interests me are spirituality and sustainability. I'd call myself reliable, creative and with a good eye for details.

I love to do art-related things like dancing, theatre, singing and also painting, photographing or creating short films with friends. So I'd love to help with art or social projects.

I really like animals and I would love to help with them. I also like to be and explore nature and help outside.

My time at the hostel was really great. The people are all so nice! The work is very clear and easy once you get into a routine and only 2-4h depending on the day. Mai did a great job in our community and always with a smile. Thanks to her good communication skills she mixed easily with the group of volunteers. We could rely on her to do the right thing and she was very respectful of the rules of community life. Hope she improved her French. We recommand Mai as a great workawayer.

My experience at this centre was amazing! The work was easily doable and I still had a lot of free time to enjoy the peace of the surroundings and to take walks in the forest. May is a lovely girl who is very brave to travel all alone. She helped so much with every job we gave her but especially loved to walk dogs and help with animals. I do hope that workaway builds confidence and value herself as she should. Thank you May for all your hard work.
