  • Description

So, let's come to what the Italian Ministry of the Interior's files does not report...
Whenever the stars line up, I wander around the four cardinal points, looking for stories to listen to, and just as many to tell.
On the other hand, it is no coincidence that, in my native language, the word "ospite" designates both the host and the guest. With all the reciprocity, gratuitousness and sacredness that comes from it.
I travel with the perspective of receiving and offering opportunities, embracing the chance to adopt new ways of seeing the world and confronting the challenges that places, people, and experiences present me with, and I never give up on that.
In conclusion, confusion is my compass and serendipity my rudder.
Ah, I forgot: the passion for lighthouses (solitary guardians of the sea) and trees (silent keepers of the forests) is more than a small detail.

  • More details about your skills

    A) FREELANCE JOURNALIST (june 2025 > ongoing)
I write in-depth articles, reportage pieces, and interviews on social and environmental justice, analyzing the social, political-economic, legal, and ideological contexts underlying specific events and issues. Currently collaborating with digital media outlets, I am committed to a slow and ethical form of journalism that amplifies perspectives from underrepresented and minority voices.

    B) ITALIAN RED CROSS VOLUNTEER (2014 > ongoing):
    - INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION & MEDIATION (Sept 2021 – present): I support capacity building, project design, and institutional networking. These roles—with earlier delegation leadership abroad - have strengthened my negotiation skills, intercultural adaptability, and teamwork.

    - EDUCATIONAL FACILITATION (Oct 2018 – Sept 2022): I co-designed and delivered educational programs on international humanitarian law, non-violence and health awareness, creating inclusive materials and engaging diverse youth groups. This experience enhanced my clarity of communication and sensitivity to young generations’ attitudes and needs.

    - EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AND DISASTER RESPONSE (Feb 2016 – Dec 2024): With experience in natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods, as well as in medical support for large-scale events, I strengthened my physical and emotional resilience, calm under pressure, and capacity to adapt quickly—skills valuable in demanding, outdoor, nature-based contexts.

SOCIAL INCLUSION (May 2014 – Oct 2022): Working in psychosocial support for - vulnerable groups, including migrant communities and families facing hardship, I developed strong active listening, empathy, and the ability to operate in sensitive settings with an intersectional approach.

    C) WORKAWAY EXPERIENCE (Føroyar, July – August 2024, total 6 weeks):
I completed two Workaway experiences in the Faroe Islands: the first involved managing a household and providing childcare, while the second consisted of farm work. Through these experiences, I gained sensitivity to Nordic cultures, practical adaptability to rural life, and familiarity with the unique climatic and environmental conditions of northern latitudes.

    D) ARCHEOLOGICAL FIELD ASSISTANT & AGRICULTURAL WORKER (Italy and France; August 2015, 2016, 2017; July 2016; September 2020): I participated in four archaeological excavation campaigns in Italy, each lasting four weeks during the summer months, contributing to careful excavation, artifact handling, and site documentation. In addition, I worked as a seasonal farm laborer for one month in Italy in 2016 and during the grape harvest for two weeks in France in 2020, performing physically demanding tasks under sun and variable temperatures. I developed strong physical endurance, precision, and meticulous attention to detail in physically demanding tasks, reinforcing my ability to perform accurately under challenging outdoor conditions.

    HOBBY:
Among the skills above, I've to mention my passion for sport swimming, climbing, hiking, creative writing and knitting, in addition to cooking (I mean, I'm Italian, tell me you didn't expect it!). Oh, and firefly search. I can spend hours in it.
