Description
Hi there,
I’m a French-American writer and traveler, currently exploring life as the adventure it truly is. I’ve spent most of my life in France, with regular stints across Europe and the United States, and I recently published my first narrative nonfiction book — a travel-driven investigation that took me on the road for several months.
After years spent writing about other people’s stories, I’m now eager to get my hands dirty, learn new skills, and live closer to the land. I’m especially interested in animal care, small-scale food production, and eco-construction, but I’m open to anything that combines community, sustainability, and creativity.
I’m self-reliant, easy-going, and curious, fluent in French and English, and comfortable both working alone or as part of a team. There's not much of a challenge that frightens me and I am always curious about learning about other's life experiences.
Right now, I’m following a deep fascination with the Great North and the Polar Night — the silence, the light, the resilience it calls for. My next chapter is about slowing down, learning by doing, and contributing to places that embody those values.

More details about your skills
So, I basically "lost" myself right after high school and went to some prestigious French business school for a Master's degree, which means I have a good knowledge of different languages (French, English, Spanish) which I have taught in the past too, as well as skills in Digital Marketing and Communications.
I then quickly moved on to working for various online publications as a journalist (cause, well, I was bored doing marketing and it wasn't fulfilling to me, whereas writing and researching subjects really is).
I've also practiced digital and film photography for as long as I can remember and am pretty good at operating a camera. I always travel with at least two cameras that follow me everywhere as well as a bunch of film in my backpack. I've developed my skills in Photoshop throughout the last 10 years, and am currently diving deeper into learning how to use Adobe Illustrator as a graphic design tool. I also know how to edit movies, and wouldn't mind working on projects like that.
I would love to learn more about permaculture and alternative housing. I've been writing for a radical media and it's really opened my mind to alternative ways of living, ecology, community living, animal rights etc. Hence why I'd love to actually experience myself active ways to make the world a better place.
I also love cooking, and love food in general. So I'd love to help with that.
Also, I know how to make jokes while standing in front of a crowd (I've practiced theater ever since I was 8 and still am), and am good at storytelling and putting parties together. So if you need someone to organize a cool event, or to write for your blog in a delightful way, I could be the right person for that.

What else ...
I'd be happy to crack some jokes in either French or English, in my free time I do stand up comedy!
Other than that, I'm looking for like-minded, kind people, who enjoy nature, art, and are open to the rest of the world.
