Description
****************************************************************************************************
Hello and welcome!
We are a highly creative, open-minded family of four who moved from London to the lovely seaside town of Pesaro, Italy, back in 2015. Our home is a buzzing hub of art and music. Fabio is a professional music composer, Anna works in hospitality during the summer, and our two teenagers, Oliver (16) and Amelia (14), both attend the local art high school. We also share our space with 3 very adored cats.
Our house is filled with artistic energy. Starting with music, singing, drawing, videomaking, creating many different arts&crafts, crocheting, lately bag sewing...
Amelia has also been deeply fascinated by East Asian cultures, particularly Japan and Korea, and as a family, we would absolutely love to learn genuine, authentic Japanese or Korean home cooking!
Our kids are fully grown now, so our home is no longer about babysitting—it’s about connection. We love welcoming interesting, inspired people from all over the world to enrich our lives, collaborate, share stories over dinner, and exchange skills.
What to Do in Your Spare Time
Pesaro is a beautiful seaside town in the Le Marche region, celebrated for its rich cultural, artistic, and musical history. It’s an ideal place for coastal bike rides and long beach walks. On your days off, exploring is easy: you can hop on a bus to the stunning Renaissance town of Urbino, or take a quick train ride to Ravenna to see the world-famous mosaics. San Marino, San Leo, and the lively nightlife of the Romagnola coast (Rimini and Riccione) are also just a short trip away. -

Types of Help Needed
We are looking for independent, proactive Workawayers who can bring their own unique talents to our home. We are looking for help with:
Branding, Marketing & Social Media: We would love someone tech-savvy or creative to help us with branding strategy, marketing ideas, or optimizing our social media accounts.
Sewing & Crafting: Anna is currently exploring sewing and making handmade bags! She is a beginner and would be thrilled to host someone with sewing experience who can share tips, techniques, and create together.
Minor DIY & Refurbishment: We have a few home improvement projects on the horizon. We’d love a handy volunteer who can help with minor repairs, fixing a ceiling, patchworking a wall, or painting.
House & Cat Sitting: We occasionally need a trustworthy person to look after the house and spoil our 3 cats when we are away. -

Accommodation
In exchange for your creative and practical help (roughly 4–5 hours a day, 5 days a week), we provide:
Sleeping Setup: We are a cozy, active family home and do not have a permanent, dedicated spare room anymore. Instead, we adapt our spaces! Depending on the timing, you might have a room, but it is more likely you will be sleeping on a comfortable sofa bed in our living room. We ensure this room can be fully closed off at night so you have total privacy and your own personal space to relax. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.
Food: Three meals a day. We love cooking and eating together, but you are always welcome to use the kitchen to share a dish from your home country.
Location: Super convenient! We are just 1 km from the historic center of Pesaro and 1.5 km from the beach. -
What else ...
In your free time you can visit few close by towns or cities, such as wonderful Urbino, Ravenna, San Marino.
You can also attend language exchange meetings that are held once a week, and meet other young people from around here and abroad. -
