Hi, I’m Connie — a friendly, creative, and practical person who loves being useful and getting stuck into new environments.
I’m happiest working with my hands, learning from others, and being part of a team where everyone mucks in together. I have a background in art and design and run my own handmade clothing business, but I also really enjoy hands-on tasks like organising, cleaning, painting, gardening, and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.
I’ve worked in retail, hospitality, events, and marketing, so I’m adaptable and comfortable turning my hand to whatever needs doing. I’m reliable, tidy, and thoughtful in shared spaces, and I always try to make life easier for the people around me.

I’m a very practical, hands-on person with experience across hospitality, retail, events, marketing, and running my own small handmade clothing business.

I’m confident with cleaning, organising, setting up spaces, painting and decorating, basic gardening, and general help around the home or property. I’ve worked at festivals setting up and packing down large tented spaces, staging interiors, making beds, quality checking, and acting as a point of contact for guests, so I’m used to working hard, staying organised, and keeping spaces welcoming and functional.

Creatively, I have a background in art and design and am a self-taught seamstress. I can help with sewing projects, crafts, simple repairs, visual presentation, and anything that needs a creative eye. I also have experience with marketing, social media, Canva, product listings, and customer communication if any digital help is needed.

Most of all, I’m adaptable, reliable, and happy to turn my hand to whatever needs doing.

Outside of work, I’m very creative and love sewing, designing clothes, and making things by hand. I enjoy cooking meals, listening to music, going on long walks, swimming, and spending time outdoors.

I’m quite easygoing and happy with simple pleasures — shared meals, good conversation, music in the background, and a calm home environment. I love learning new skills from people and hearing their stories.

I also enjoy board games, cards, and anything a bit silly or creative in the evenings, and I’m always happy to join in with whatever the household enjoys doing.
