  Hi, my name is Alessandra and I am 33 years old. I live in the countryside, a few steps from the sea. I have a farm designed in permaculture that I am managing by myself, with the help of my parents. We produce honey, ancient wheat, oil, hemp and vegetables. I have an association that deals with planting trees and this too takes up quite some time. I love my life and my work, in particular I'm trying to create a real sanctuary for the bees .. which as you know are suffering because of us. It is a very beautiful but very difficult project ... but the satisfactions repay me for everything!
  
  
  Ciao , mi chiamo Alessandra e ho 36 anni. Abito in campagna, a pochi passi dal mare. Ho un'azienda agricola progettata in permacultura che sto gestendo da sola, con l'aiuto dei miei genitori. Produciamo miele, grano antico, olio, canapa ed ortaggi. Ho un'associazione che si occupa di piantumare alberi: "Gaia - un progetto di rivegetazione" e anche questa mi occupa un bel po' di tempo. Adoro la mia vita ed il mio lavoro, in particolare sto cercando di creare un vero e proprio santuario per le api.. che come saprete stanno soffrendo a causa nostra. E' un progetto molto bello ma assai arduo...però le soddisfazioni mi ripagano di tutto!

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  They are a stone's throw from the fantastic Gulf of Baratti, where the Etruscan civilization once prospered. It will be a pleasure for me to introduce you to my ancestors, the necropolis and the acropolis, the castle of Populonia Alta which overlooks the sea from above. In addition I would be very happy to share with you all my knowledge concerning regenerative agriculture and permaculture.
  
  
  Sono a due passi dal fantastico golfo di Baratti, dove un tempo la civiltà etrusca prosperava. Sarà un piacere per me farvi conoscere i miei avi, la necropoli e l'acropoli, il castello di Populonia alta che dall'alto domina il mare. In più sarei ben felice di condividere con voi tutte le mie conoscenze riguardanti l'agricoltura rigenerativa e la permacultura.

  Unfortunately, the work is a lot and I can't take care of everything. That's why every help is welcome! In particular for garden care, maintenance work (masonry, wood ..). If you love nature and sustainable lifestyles, I would be happy to introduce you to my project and share the work with you depending on the season.I need help in particular with regards to planting trees and creating new flower beds for bees. And obviously also being able to create an irrigation system would be very useful to speed up the work!
  
  
  Purtroppo il lavoro è tantissimo e non riesco a occuparmi di tutto.. Per questo ogni aiuto è ben accetto! In particolare per la cura del giardino, lavori di manutenzione (muratura, legno..). Se siete amanti della natura e degli stili di vita sostenibili, sarei felice di farvi conoscere il mio progetto e di condividere con voi il lavoro a seconda delle stagioni. Ho bisogno di aiuto in particolare per quello che riguarda la piantumazione degli alberi e il creare nuove aiuole fiorite per le api. E ovviamente anche poter creare un impianto di irrigazione sarebbe molto utile per velocizzare il lavoro!

  Accommodation

  Depending on the period. In summer we will share my home, or we will all stay in comfortable caravans with every comfort. In the rest of the year there will be the possibility of staying in a small apartment on the farm. Meals will be shared.
  
  A seconda del periodo. In estate condivideremo la mia casa, o alloggeremo tutti in delle comode roulotte dotate di ogni comfort. Nel resto dell'anno ci sarà la possibilità di soggiornare in un piccolo appartamentino in azienda. I pasti saranno condivisi. Se volete mangiare carne o bere alcolici faremo una cassa comune per acquistarli, altrimenti il menù sarà prevalentemente vegetariano!

  What else ...

  The company is far from neighboring countries but you can move by bike. I have a car and I can take you to the most distant beaches and I will definitely be your personal guide to let you know all the wonders of this place. The train station is very close, if someone wanted to spend a few days in nearby art cities like Florence, Pisa or Siena.
  
  L'azienda è lontana dai paesi vicini ma ci si può spostare in bici. Io ho l'auto e posso accompagnarvi nelle spiagge più lontane e sicuramente sarò la vostra guida personale per farvi conoscere tutte le meraviglie di questo posto. La stazione dei treni è molto vicina, se qualcuno volesse trascorrere qualche giorno nelle città d'arte vicine come Firenze, Pisa o Siena.
