Juliette es una persona con una energía muy chevere y contagiosa. Desde el primer momento que llegó, compartió su buena vibra con todos y se mostró siempre predispuesta a participar en cada actividad. Tiene una curiosidad genuina y un entusiasmo que se sienten en todo lo que hace. Durante su estancia construimos juntos una mesa desde cero, cocinamos comidas deliciosas —incluidas algunas de las mejores paltas que he probado en la selva— y trabajamos en el jardín. También compartimos momentos muy especiales, como nuestra visita al Parque Nacional Río Abiseo y algunas experiencias más espirituales que fueron realmente significativas. Juliette es una chica con una visión clara y equilibrada de la vida, con quien se puede tener conversaciones profundas e inspiradoras. Además, tiene una gran disposición para aprender cosas nuevas y disfrutar del proceso. En resumen, recomiendo totalmente a Juliette. Es una excelente compañera, alegre, curiosa y comprometida, que aporta siempre buena energía al lugar y a las personas que la rodean.

I spent two weeks at the foundation and these two weeks were extraordinary! Carl and the Dr are very welcoming and you will immediately feel at home. The dogs are adorable and work is very easy to hold back. I learned a lot about the life of street dogs but also how to best take care of them. Starting from this first mission was not easy. I met other wonderful volunteers with whom I shared very good moments. 😉 If I had to identify something, it is the activities around the foundation that are not numerous but if you like peace then go for it!

Thank you Captain, Kaka, Jai and Chikako for being so welcoming! My stay felt heartwarming. It was a magical stay in a beautiful place with incredible people:) 3 weeks may seem long but the time flew by so fast! Thanks for sharing about: organic farming, coocking, interesting story, the 7 rock game, … I recommend this farm 100%! You wont regret! A perfect place to reconnect with nature. Daniel turned up at the agreed time. He is a very pleasant young man, he took onboard all of the different jobs that he was asked to do with enthusiasm and good effort. It was obvious to us that a lot of the tasks we asked him to do were quite out of his range of experience but he took them on board and performed them to a good standard with a smile on his face. He was a good conversationalist and was pleasant to be around. He is always welcome to come back again.

We had the pleasure of Madlaina as a workaway in September/October 2025. Madlaina is very hardworking and smiling. She easily fits into our daily routine. Her good mood infected both teachers and students. She was a good role model for the students with her proper and easy approach to things. Thank you very much for your time with us!

We had the pleasure of Ibuki as a workaway in September/October 2025. Ibuki is a very welcoming person. She speaks fluent English and had a very easy time integrating into our culture. She is good at seeing where an extra hand is needed and contributes naturally. She is very smiling and listening, she interacted very well with our students. We thank you very much for your time with us!

I spend four weeks at Thorsten's place and I would never trade this time for anything. I was deeply welcomed since the first day and I felt very comfortable. Thorsten is such a genuine, attentive and funny host and it was so interesting to get to know his everyday life and his friends in Sweden. I could always ask for anything and he was willing to listen and help me. During my stay I gained a lot of experience in household and garden tasks. I felt like even though I was busy with the tasks I also got to know the area and neighborhood (stunning nature by the way). And if something doesn't work out very well he still supports you and we tried to find a solution. I had one house for myself but we usually ate together and it is such a cozy and inviting accommodation. He also took me to Denmark where I met many different and kind people. I am very thankful for this chance, so thank you very much!!

We had the pleasure of Adalis as a workaway in September 2025. She brings wonderful energy and many good ideas. She is not afraid to take the lead and start projects on her own. She facilitated both Zumba activities and a presentation about Venezuela for all students. She is an experienced workaway who has traveled a lot. Her personality is open and present. We thank her many times for her time with us.

My two weeks with Lisa and Michael were over too soon! They were wonderful hosts, and we had a lot of fun. They very graciously borrowed an upright bass for the time I was there, which was endlessly appreciated! It was so much fun to play music together, and just chat about life. I enjoyed getting to work outside in the garden, where we harvested the last of the grapes and prepared the garden beds for the winter, among other things. The system for tracking hours was very organized and appreciated as well. The region is beautiful, and when the weather was nice, I really enjoyed how easy it was to get out for hiking and biking trips. Thank you both for welcoming me with open arms!

My workaway experience with Kiki & Mo was great! They're very generous and welcoming persons. We've harvested olives, witch was very satisfying. I really loved the nature and the cats. We have cooked very tasty dishes and the cofee mashine was excellent. I loved that it's a place for naturism and that i could open my mind for new wider perspectives. We had a really wonderful time working with Sharvil. Though his time with us was short, he made a meaningful impact in every possible way. He was always ready to help whether it was teaching children Maths and Computer, assisting with daily tasks or even helping in the kitchen. We also watched movies and matches together, which made the time even more fun and memorable. His positive attitude and willingness to contribute truly stood out. We are grateful for his efforts and the time he spent with us. Wishing him all the very best for his future journey hope our paths cross again someday!

I had an absolutely lovely time in Mattsee! I was immediately and warmly welcomed into the family, and my 4 weeks here flew by. The work was reasonable and flexible, and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to cook for everyone as much as I did! Mattsee is a beautiful location to be in - I went and did a lot of cold plunges in the lake as it got colder, and there are some nice, short walks/hikes in the area. Getting to and from Salzburg for some day trips was also easy - although I also had a lot of fun hanging out at home with Lukas, Sarah, and the kids. It was a joy to be a part of their daily life, and I was truly struck by how caring and generous they were.

Oh, My! How to sum everything up?: The best Workaway experience by far! I spent almost 4 months there, but I'd have stayed longer if I could! I arrived there by chance, and I sincerely had a wonderful time there. I fell in love with the place, with the people, the culture and the language. Dani and Ralph are amazing hosts, they're really friendly, cool, very kind and respectful. The working staff at the campsite are really nice, funny and friendly, too! I think that in this position you really get to exchange and share cultures with eachother (with the local people and with other Workawayers, too). We went altogether to festivals, dinning outside, and many times to play darts at the local bar in Vockenhausen. In my case, I arrived there without even knowing how to say "Hallo" (literally), but I ended up learning basic German communication skills while I worked at the Bar. They asked me in first place in which kind of works I'd like to do so, I tried almost everything until I found my place at the bar and cleaning during the morning shifts, but obviously when there was something else to do in other areas (such as gardening, helping at the reception or even housekeeping, etc.) I tried to be always available to do that, too. I liked the work because it was well organized. We used an app, so I could keep track on what to do, when and how much time and money was that. In the free times, I used to go by train to Frankfurt, or maybe doing longer trips elsewhere, maybe a small walk in the woods (which are amazingly beautiful) or just staying at home relaxing, which was totally possible because everyone had their own privacy in the shared flat. I'd really love to go back there next year because it was a wonderful experience. I sincerely felt at home and I already miss you all! Thak you Dani, Ralph, Doreen, Lena, Anika, Anna, Lucie, Tim, Britta, Dragan, Andy, Matteo, Teresa, René, Arad, Hadas, Saskia, Teresa, Clara and everyone else!

Jeanne from France was an outstanding volunteer during her three week stay with us. Her genuine interest in our culture and olive cultivation sparked so many inspiring talks and made her time here even more special. She handled every task thrown her way with excellence, always proactive and ready to dive in. With her good character and positive vibe, she was a true joy to have around and a perfect fit for the team. As your first review, Jeanne, you nailed it, keep shining! Thanks for everything. we'll miss you, and you are welcome back in spring! :)

My boyfriend and I had such a great time at this workaway. Siri was so kind and generous and made us feel at home immediately. The children were so sweet and we had lots of materials to get creative and have fun in the classroom. Would highly recommend especially if you want a break from the hustle of the cities and backpacking life! I Hope we will cross paths again some day. Thanks again for everything, Chloe and Andy.

It was one of the best hostels I've worked at! I stayed for the all season, 4 months, and I felt like home. The atmosphere that Tim has created is very welcoming and warm. I learned a lot working with him. He’s such a nice guy, always here when you need, and with a lot of travel stories to share! Regarding the work, I was sharing my time between cleaning and reception (welcoming, guiding and advising travelers). You meet sooo many people when you’re there. Some guests become friends. And I was going on spontaneous adventures and hikes sometimes. So cool! I had plenty of time to enjoy the summer in Ljubljana (the best european capital I’ve been to), learn a bit of sloven language and discover some parts of Slovenia like the seaside, the lakes and more. Everything is so close that you can even go to Italy or Croatia for a day or two. One of my best workaway experience, I can only recommend it! If I could, I would definitely come back again ! Dear Eleda, thank you so much that you were there when I was’t. I just heard beautiful stories about you. You helped wherever was needed, and found your way around although the language barrier with Galip, but that was great because now he had no choise then practice his English 😁Yes luckily Sara was there to inform you, but still you were in your OWN looking after the dogs, cats, house. courtyards. It was a blast working with Emily & Ashleigh. Both are very kind people. Always doing the job very professional, always proactive and handling everything with a smile. Quick learner and always interested in progressing. All of us enjoyed our time very much. Thank you guys for all your help and good luck with everything.

Bridget is an exceptional worker and houseguest, and she is very fun to be with. She helped to finish the winterizing of my boats, and did a great amount of tool moving and space organizing . She gladly did everything that was asked of her, and did all tasks exceptionally well. It was a bonus to me that she fell in love with this area and could not get enough of it, even on rainy days. She is active, a great hiker and runner, and she greatly explored this beautiful area. I highly recommend her.

Finn even the young of his age he did hard job and very good. Sure is a person that does not afraid the work and the challenges. Very clean nit and one of the the cleanest person that has passed. Excellent i wish you all the best and meet again soon
