We absolutely loved hosting Rima in our castle. She is a wonderful human being, very smart, present and always happy to help with whatever the day was asking for. From the very beginning, she brought clarity and structure to our work. Rima supported us with developing digital systems, operational support and logisctis and she did it with remarkable maturity and vision. For her young age, she is incredibly grounded and thoughtful. She understands quickly, works with intention and truly cares about what she contributes. Beyond her skills, Rima is pure sunshine, always smiling, kind, adventurous and fun. Her presence brings light to a place. We are very proud of her and confident that she will bring so much value and heart wherever she goes next. We recommend Rima 100%, without hesitation. Krysty was truly amazing to have with us. Always attentive and ready to help, he naturally stepped in wherever the day was asking something to be done. He took wonderful care of our horse, helped with maintenance, cooking, and housekeeping, and even introduced us to delicious dishes we loved. What really stood out is that he never waited to be asked ! whenever he saw something that needed doing, he just did it, with care and presence. Beyond the work, Krysty is a calm, kind, and grounded person. We shared so many great moments together: karaoke nights, watching things together, deep conversations, countless fun side quests, and so many memorable laughs. He brought a beautiful energy into our home. And as a bonus he plays the guitar divinely well, which added magic to our days. We recommend Krysty 100% without hesitation. We love you, Krysty, and truly hope to see you again someday. You are always welcome here 🤍

It was a total pleasure to receive Valentina at our project. She was wonderful with the children, incredibly kind, patient and devoted to their wellbeing. The children really adored her, and the staff were singing her praises. We would love to have Valentina to return to our school one day, she will be truly missed! I wish her allnthe best in her journeys and definitely recommend her as a wonderful volunteer!

Nele was such a blessing to our farm, family and lodge. She comes with good energy and wonderful ideas. The time and photos she took for our lodge was huge and we are truly grateful for that, she played a lot with our daughter Miah and we could see that a bond was form between them. Nele helped with whatever was needed, gardening, cattle, planting, kids, food prep ect etc.. We highly recommend her to any host.

Hello! I volunteered here for about a week and had an amazing experience! The place was beautiful and there were lots of small and big jobs to do to get the albergue ready to start serving folk on el camino. Cat and Maz are absolutely lovely, calm and open minded individuals. I loved every minute I was there, all the meals we shared and the interesting conversations we had :) I absolutely recommend everyone to come stay, help out and connect with Cat and Maz- so much love for you guys! <3

Fehime and her family are absolutely wonderful. I looked after the twins for about 10 days while the rest of the family went away to Istanbul. The family did everything to make me feel incredibly welcome, I felt like part of the family from the first moment I arrived until the very last moment, when they dropped me off at the bus stop. The twins are very independent, intelligent, respectful and calm and just generally great to be around and chat with. The city itself is lovely to visit and as in the description, the beach is just a 15 minute walk from the home. I would definitely recommend you spend some time with this lovely family and if I ever come back to Turkey, I will definitely be visiting them again :) So much love for this beautiful family! <3

I stayed with Tiphaine and Freek in August and September of 2024 and I absolutely loved it. The twins were such a joy to look after and of course they had a couple moments of upset but overall they are quite lovely. Tiphaine and Freek were so lovely and I couldn't have asked for more supportive Hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure I was welcome and that I had everything I needed. They made sure to clearly communicate expectations and feedback. We had so many good laughs and I made so many good memories in France and Barcelona, both with the family and the time I was given to myself. The twins wormed their way into my hear and I do miss them. They are such sweet children, curious about so much and and so precious in the way they interact with the world. I definitely recommend this to anyone considering it.

Andy is a very warm and kind person with who you immediately feel at ease. He cooks really great and while eating and working together I learned a lot from him. The two weeks I was there we did the window restoration project. He is super smart and takes the time to explain things. I had a fantastic time and there is a nice balance between work and enough free time to relax and experience everything well. I look back on this with great pleasure. His dog is great so my dog also had a great time. new brothers for life. Love to come back!

Irina was our Workaway guest in this month of January During that time, we came to know her as reliable, responsible, clean, and headstrong. Her insightful stories from St. Petersburg and La Palma gave us unusual glimpses into her life and those places. Her preferred tasks were housework and cooking, shop work, fruit drying and taking care of the animals. Unfortunately, her woodworking skills weren't much put to use. She is very hardworking and ambitious. We sincerely wish her all the best for her future.

Jane and Lars were unfortunately only with us for 5 days. Due to the winter weather, it was better for them to find somewhere warmer near the coast. They are absolutely reliable, friendly, responsible, generous, and thorough. They integrated perfectly into our household during their stay. They were particularly fond of the garden, demonstrating remarkable efficiency. They even managed to paint the new bathroom, for which I am very grateful. I wish them all the best and hope they will have more Workaway experiences and perhaps even return to us during a warmer time.

Leandra is a very sweet and kind person who always follows through on what she says. She is reliable and approaches every task with care and a positive attitude, even when the tasks are new to her. She took wonderful care of our dog and even gave him a nice grooming one day. We truly hope she gets to enjoy many new experiences around the world, and through more Workaway experiences, we believe she will gradually come out of her introverted shell. 🫶

My time here was truly special and meaningful. This place is not just a stay or a project — it’s a living vision built with care, creativity, and heart. The work felt purposeful rather than mechanical — whether it was helping with the website, creative ideas, daily tasks, or simply contributing presence and effort, everything felt like part of something growing. What made this experience stand out was the balance: there was structure, but also freedom; responsibility, but also space to breathe, reflect, and connect. Conversations were thoughtful, meals were shared with warmth, and the environment constantly reminded me to slow down and be present. This place attracts people who value nature, creativity, and human connection. If you’re someone who enjoys contributing to a vision, learning through doing, and being part of a calm yet inspiring space, this is a beautiful place to be. I’m very grateful for the trust, the learning, and the connection formed here. This experience will stay with me, and I’d happily recommend this place to the right kind of Workawayer — one who comes with openness, respect, and heart.

Amelia is someone you would be lucky to have as a Workaway in your home. She is a great cook, self-directed, wonderful with kids, and very easy to be around. She is exceptionally competent for her age — she repaired clothes and could cook a meal from almost anything. We would happily take her back any day 🙂

When Yukiko contacted me about a workaway during a time when I would be traveling, my first impulse was to turn her down. But I was able to convince her to come a couple of days earlier, while I was still home, and stay as a house-sitter/pet-sitter while I traveled. That turned out to be a perfect solution, as she took excellent care of the house, and did a lot of weeding and yard maintenance as well, and cleaned up the yard after after a big storm. Her daughter visited for a week and when I returned it was great to interact with them both. They cooked a couple of great Japanese meals for me, too.

I stayed one month in this nice host near Bilthoven, the room was comfortable and the family was welcoming. They invited me in their house for the festivities and i enjoyed their company :) I also enjoyed the work i did, though a couple of times i felt very cold outside. I expected i would be working with vegetables in a greenhouse a little more, but they only have it in summer. Overall i would definitely reccomend this host. Best Wishes!!

Ebrahim is a good person to have around. He is talkative, have a lot of interesting things to share. He also love learning. He is community oriented and help around, including taking care of other volunteers and participate to the good vibe. I recommend him.

Olivia is amazing! We had a very good time. She is full of life and energy, very enthusiastic and love learning. She really enjoyed it. I definitely recommend her.

Ferran and Fara stayed for 2 weeks. They are really good, efficient, understand well. I recommend them for any volunteering.
