Snap him while you can, he is such a great workaway with an amazing positivity and zest for life. We had a whirlwind week together with tons of cooking (he is a phenomenal chef) and a very willing 'doer', he cooked virtually a week's worth of food for us to take with us on our upcoming ski holiday. We had lots of snow, but Rodrigo was great with our dog and that of a neighbour, taking them out in treacherous winter conditions. He showed a lot of initiative and was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed having you here and look forward to a return visit when and if you aren't held up in the Alps running a gorgeous boutique hotel.

This was my very first Workaway experience, and I truly couldn’t have asked for better hosts. From the moment I arrived, Steph and Sebastian made me feel genuinely welcomed and part of their home. They are both incredibly intelligent, attentive, open-minded and kind people, and being around them was not only comfortable but also inspiring. One of the highlights of my stay was spending time with Monty. Our walks together became one of my favorite daily rituals, peaceful, grounding moments that allowed me to connect with the surroundings and really enjoy the experience beyond just the work itself. I also learned so much from Steph. She has such a thoughtful and experienced way of seeing the world, and our conversations meant a lot to me. I leave not only grateful for the experience, but also feeling that I grew personally during my time there. The accommodation is spacious and very comfortable, and the work is flexible and adapted to your individual skills, which makes everything feel balanced and fair. I genuinely hope I can come back one day to visit them again. I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone considering a Workaway, it was more than just an exchange, it was something truly meaningful to me.

We greatly enjoyed hosting Inbar. Inbar works hard, has great organizing skills, and provided us with much laughter and engagement during her stay with us. We greatly appreciated all her help with various tasks around the center, including cleaning and organizing of various spaces and the burning of butter lamps that people offer everyday, she helped us greatly with these! We enjoyed many conversations on books, traveling and the state of affairs in the world. Inbar will do great things with her life, we're certain of that! And we highly recommend her to any future workaway hosts and wish her all the best in her endeavors.

I was very happy with the help and open freindly personality of Antoniette. She has a joy in getting things done attitude and energy . we arose early and she was eager to begin. She was enthusiastic to discover and enjoy her free time so was off adventuring when the work was done. She showed initiative and did a great job cleaning and reorganising the kitchen. She also helped me on applications on the computer and getting some long overdue tasks done.She respected the need for quite at night in a small flat and we also took off a couple of times in the evenings, she was very open and appreciative for what i could share around cooking and amsterdam and sharing a couple of evenings. She is very welcome to revisit.Thanks Anto

Juan kindly invited me to stay at his finca for a little over a week in February 2026. Most of the work revolved around rebuilding his yurt which had been destroyed by recent weather in Andalucía. Although we didn't manage to finish in the time I was there I enjoyed seeing the progress from a pile of ramshackle to a bonafide structure. Working with Juan was very pleasant, he has a great mind for improvising solutions to problems and I felt a learned a lot from him in our time together. I also enjoyed playing music, chess and biking with Juan, as well as just hanging out. I would say that if this is your first Workaway, it might be difficult since the work can be long and laborious but if you don't mind that then I fully recommend this one. muchas gracias por todo y te deseo buena suerte. estoy empezando lanzarillo de tormes hoy!

Diti was my first Workaway host and one of the best I've ever had. Her house is in a truly magical location and the work was very easy. The best part was getting to know each other and sharing stories of our travels and adventures. I stayed in a small separate cottage with complete privacy, and at mealtimes we shared some very special moments together. I loved getting to know her. 100% recommended.

Diana is a great helper and I would highly recommend her. She goes the extra mile and isn't a clock watcher and likes to finish the job irrespective of time. Friendly, helpful and willing to try anything describe her well. You won't be disappointed.

1000 % can recommend!!! In maybe one of the most beautiful places to settle and build a house, we were working at Niki and Camilos place to construct and finish a greenhouse. In total we were about 5-7 workawayers at a time and it felt so good to work on a project together and create things with good people who share the same passion about traveling, DIY, nature. I learnt a lot about cooking/baking (took the best cinnamon rolls recipe, learned how to bake bread and tried my first French Toasts ever) and I shared this passion with Esmeralda, their wonderful daugther. I like the natural lifestyle and i learned a lot about alternative ways to shape life! All in all I can definetly say I had a wonderful experience there and I left this place with a lot of inspiration!! Thank you<3

I loved spending a few days with Cyndilu and Robin. Cyndilu is a wonderful hostess, always so kind. I loved sharing stories about our travels and learning new delicious recipes with the Thermomix. I also loved getting to know Robin a little and being able to help him, even if only a little. You are both great, and I hope to return to New Zealand and visit you again in the future.

We spent two weeks with Pepe and his family in Melipilla. We are incredibly grateful to the whole family for allowing us to spend time with them. They gave us an incredibly warm welcome and included us in their family life. It was an incredibly special experience for us to experience family life in Chile up close. We personally enjoyed working in the garden and learned a lot. We enjoyed spending time outdoors in nature among the many fruit trees. It's a great project, and we hope you continue it so that many more volunteers can have a wonderful time here.

Very beautiful place with good energy. Worked is easy and fun. Amador is an amazing person with a lot of Tipps and Storys to tell.his son is an amazing Cook.

Desy es una persona muy mágica. Mi experiencia con ella fue magnífica en todo momento. Su tránsito por aquí en el espacio ha sido genial y muy beneficioso. Es una gran persona, con un enorme corazón, mucho coraje y voluntad por hacer, crecer, ser. Súper responsable, respetuosa, curiosa, muy sociable, reflexiva e intuitiva. Ha participado en la ayuda de construcción de muros, revoques, pinturas naturales, preparación de mezclas, limpieza, mantenimiento del huerto. Enorme capacidad para trabajar en todo tipo de tareas! Ha sido una experiencia de intercambio muy nutritiva y también de gran ayuda a los avances del espacio. Muchas gracias por todo lo compartido Desy y por haber venido aquí. Mis mejores deseos siempre para tu camino y que la vida siempre te sonría. Gracias!

Barney and Andy originally planned to visit us for two weeks to help with long-overdue repairs around the property. Unfortunately, Andy had to leave after three weeks, while Barney stayed for a total of two months. During that time, they tackled our most urgent projects on the kennels with real dedication and creativity. They worked through an entire list of tasks and were never too proud to take on any job. They even adopted a gentle stray dog straight from the street, found her a new home in England, and brought her to her new family on quite an adventurous journey. They spared no effort to save this sweet soul. Barney and Andy are two big-hearted people who bring color and warmth into every life they touch. We’re very happy that Andy will be visiting us again soon, and we truly hope Barney will also find his way back to us. Boys, we call you friends.

Sabrina worked with us for 2 months and I can say honestly she is a very lovely person! She works hard and is willing to try any new task thrown her way. She cares deeply, is kind, honest and boy is she ever physically strong!!

Lambro stayed with us for four weeks and was a great support throughout his time here. He took care of cleaning the dog enclosures and the feed kitchen, feeding the dogs, and walking them. He also helped a lot in the garden and with repairs to the enclosures. He looked after our dogs with genuine care, kindness, and respect. We also really enjoyed listening to his stories about life in South Africa, which always made for interesting conversations. It was truly a pleasure having him with us.

We both really enjoyed our time here! We spent 3 weeks here and the time flew by. The work is only 2 hours a day 5 days a week 7:30-9:30pm. All of the students are great and you can learn so much about Turkey from them. Istanbul is a massive city and there's so much see. The other volunteers were also a great bunch and we had fun renting a car and exploring other places on the weekend together. If you're looking for a fun, relaxed experience where you can make friends and learn about culture, we strongly recommend :) A small note for future volunteers: you will sleep on a sofa bed, the same couches used for classes. Each afternoon you will move everything from your room to a locker. It was not an issue for us and easy to do. Happy volunteering!

I spent a month at the hostel and it was a wonderful experience. Every volonteers and all of the staff were super welcoming and I really felt at home. The work was super fun and not to hard. A lot of fun time and beautiful memories!

Ella stayed with us for a week and we really enjoyed her being here. She helped us in the garden although the weather was terrible and also did some decorating indoors when it was not possible to be outside. Ella is very capable and friendly and it was a pleasure to host her.
