Description
We are an institute founded by an ESL teacher in 2009, working on English practice for learners. Our attendees and team are all easy-going and fun. Including my wife, our teacher Yaren and me, we are a team of 8-10 people from different countries. Our sessions start at 19.30-21.30 during the week, and we would like our workawayers for 5 days, all on weekdays. It's a fun and easy experience.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Our attendees are all educated and friendly people. What you will get is a lot of good connections and true friends from Istanbul. Workawayers will learn a lot about our culture and you will meet a lot of people from a lot of different professions. Our institute is the first speaking club in Turkey. You will talk, interact, learn and have a great time. As our work is about making people speak English, our workawayers will learn how to manage a group and how to moderate a conversation. We have a topic-based system in our app, where they will see the speaking topics about cultural and common subjects. The part is like all we do, being one of the speaking moderators and managing the ongoing conversations. You will be one of our speaking moderators, or in other terms teachers. Our attendees will learn how to teach English and manage language acquisition with our very complex and on the other hand very easy-to-manage teaching methodology. It's a great chance to learn about Turkish culture and lifestyle while moderating speaking sessions talking about daily, cultural and fun topics.

Help
We have four levels of groups in the cafe at the same time, starting at 7:30 pm, including a fluent level group managed by one of our native or native-like speakers. As we already have a speaking curriculum, which is similar to a course book in our application and website, workawayers don't need to prepare any materials or lesson plans. Our work is not a teaching job; it's managing a speaking group and their conversation. Our attendees learn and practice the language in the group. We need native or native-like English speakers to manage the speaking sessions. It's not like running a lesson, but more like running a group and their conversation following the topics in our system. You will follow the topics in our mobile app and extend the conversation according to the attendees of the speaking session. If they make mistakes, you also correct them and write some new words on the board during the session. We have two branches. One in Fatih, one in Kaıdköy. Both European and Asian centres of Istanbul. Every other day you go to the next branch at 19.30-21.30 in the week.
