Living in New Zealand and originally from UK. I will be in northern Spain in the summer, hoping to meet people, learn more about the area, the culture and be useful - and improve my Spanish.

Description
I live in New Zealand and love travelling, meeting new people, good discussions on many subjects, learning about cultures, and languages. I'll be in Spain in early summer as well as visiting my nieces and 3 year old great niece in UK, as well asfriends in Europe.
I am joining Workaday to explore opportunities and have enough time to stay in one place to contribute, get to know people and places - and to improve my Spanish.
I now work part-time and am enjoying the freedom to travel. I have a background in journalism, and broadcast documentary in international development, human rights and the environment. I also have experience teaching English as second language.
I love being outdoors, hiking, swimming, yoga, gardening, exploring new places. I enjoy caring for animals (with experience on farms with horses and sheep, and in orchards). I get great satisfaction in growing my own vegetable, and learning new recipes too. I am practical both indoors and outside and have worked on renovations - which I enjoy. I am keen to learn more carpentry skills too.
I am an easy going person, and respectful of those I live with. I enjoy spending time with children and young people too.
