We are a charming hostel located right next to the beach in beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico. We are currently going through a transitional phase and updating a lot of our units and modifying some procedures.
Come help make a difference in an evergrowing community. We are located one (1) block away from the up-and-coming Calle Loiza (Loiza Street) - full of eateries, bars, supermarkets, fruit stands, restaurants, and cafes. Most things are within walking distance, or a very cheap Uber ride away. Check out the iguanas flooding the streets of San Juan.

Add more meaning to life by contributing to an ever growing environment. We harvest our own basil/oregano in our massive garden, we practice Spanish/English with locals, and we encourage artists to let out their creativity with some mural paintings. On Tuesdays our neighbors down the road provide by donation yoga classes. There's heaps to be do, and so much to learn in terms of Puerto Rican culture/history/museums/cuisine.
This host offers accommodation and payment.
We are looking for four (3) helpers: two to take on reception roles, and one on special projects roles.
The work requirements are 5 days a week, 5 hours per shift, giving you plenty of time to explore this amazing island and practice Spanish/English. We offer minimum wage and accommodation.
See you soon in sunny San Juan!
Accomodation for staff is in a mixed dormitory of four beds only for staff members. A/C available. We also have a quaint, charming courtyard loaded with fairy lights and saturated with murals. (Perfect for Instagram)
We are in the heart of one of the most popular neighborhoods in San Juan, CALLE LOIZA - it's a neverending maze of salsa dancing, bars, karaoke, smooth beach vibes, and very rich cuisine. We are also close enough to Old San Juan that most Uber rides are under $20. Soon we'll be offering bike rentals, and the staff/helpers will be able to bike around San Juan free-of-charge. We are 25-30min walking distance to the art district, and we highly reccomend stopping by La Placita for a great night out!
