I had a wonderful experience staying with this host family. From the very first day, they made me feel welcome and part of their home.
Earl and Katie are very kind and supportive, and I’m really grateful to them for showing me a new way of parenting. I watched with admiration how they handled the four children’s needs calmly, without shouting or

My tasks were very easy and never stressful: my day started with cleaning the kitchen for about 30 minutes, and then I had a lot of free time until 2 p.m., when I took care of one child (never more than one) — usually one of the two little ones — but it was never tiring; on the contrary, it was fun!
I also had plenty of free days to visit Bath, Bristol, and Salisbury (Frome is well connected by public transport).
The two older children were very independent, but the few moments we spent together were always enjoyable: we could play lego, football, or simply have conversations.
I shared many lovely moments with Earl and Katie, talking about our cultures and other topics, and I look back on our conversations with fondness.
The time I spent with this family helped me grow a lot as a person — it made me more independent and really opened my mind. I truly miss them; I enjoyed every moment and felt so comfortable with them. I would highly recommend this family to any au pair looking for a kind, loving, and supportive home.Left by host for Workawayer (Sveva)
Sveva stayed with us for about three weeks and we wish it could have been longer.
She is such a warm and lovely presence and our kids absolutely adored her. She is an absolute natural with children, whether it was cuddling our baby or taking our 2 year old out into the garden for games. She played Lego with our 4 year old and card games with our

She is also an excellent cook so we loved getting to try regional dishes like her fabulous potato pasta! She shared with us photos of her region and town and we really feel like we got to know her well in a short time. It was so interesting to learn about her life, her studies and her way of life in Italy. She will make the most amazing midwife and we wish her all the luck with her studies.
Additioally, she took great care of our home and we would welcome her back anytime.

I spent two months with them this summer, and it was such an amazing experience.

She was a very hard worker and has incredible work ethic. She was really willing to help us and our busy family in whatever way we needed, and the kids really enjoyed getting to spend time with her. She has great initiative and would take our two year old on lovely adventures in the park or walks around town.
Sara is also an excellent cook - do not let her leave without giving you a full Carbonara lesson. We have been making autentic Italian Carbonara ever since... although it is not quite as good as Sara's ;)
Sara is a really warm, friendly and enthusiastic guest and we highly recommend her to any host.

Hanna stayed with us for a month and she was such a wonderful guest in our house. I was with Katie and Earl's family for a month in October, and had an amazing time there. I stayed with this amazing family for 7 weeks, and they’re the friendliest and most respectful hosts I could ever ask for! The tasks were mostly about helping to tidy up and keep the house organised, with some babysitting when Katie & Earl were preparing dinner. The kids are super active, outgoing, and connect with everyone easily. We had so much

Even though there were three energetic kids in the house, babysitting them was never stressful. They always respected my boundaries, and Katie & Earl ensured my working hours were fair. Katie and Earl are also very thoughtful and flexible. I really appreciated it when they allowed me to take a week off to visit my dad in Switzerland.
Frome is a really cozy town with lots of great bakeries, cafes, and charity shops to explore. There’s always some community activity happening, and my favourite spot is the library -it has vast book collections! Public transportation is very convenient, with direct trains/buses to London/Bristol. The house also has a great location -just 15 minutes by foot from Frome’s town center.
I feel so lucky to have spent Christmas and New Year’s with this wonderful family🎄✨ They invited me to their grandfather’s for Christmas, and I got to bake gingerbread cookies with Jake & Dylan! We also had many lovely cultural exchanges, and I really enjoyed my conversations with Katie & Earl. I wish Jake, Dylan, Hartley, and Stella all the happiness and health as they grow up💗💗💗 Thank you so much for everything -hope to see you all again someday! 🌟You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
