Description
Hello!
We are a family of 6 who have recently relocated from England to the beautiful Costa del Sol in Spain.
We have three boys (8, 6 and coming up 4) and a 2 year old girl.
We are looking for someone who is fun, playful, confident with kids, and up for exploring a new place.
Being around toddlers and young kids must bring you JOY, even when it's tiring and they're being naughty monkeys!!
We need help with household chores and playing with the kids.
Occasional meal prep and snack prep.
End of day clear up and tidy is a lifesaver!
A competent level of English is very important so that you can communicate clearly with them.
We are an open and welcoming household. We, and the kids, are used to houseguests and hope to make you feel like part of our family while you are here.
We are a good fit if you are:
Positive
Warm
Used to taking care of yourself - can make your own meals etc
Have good initiative and don't always need instructions on how to help - eg does laundry need folding, are there toys I can put away....
Confident with kids
Happy to play football in the garden or take kids out for a walk in the pram
Happy to read books and play Lego
Proactive, practical, and happy to get stuck into busy family life
Extra BONUS POINTS if you know how to change a nappy/diaper! ;))))
We are not a good fit if you are:
Not used to helping around the house
Overly introverted
Overwhelmed by young children
On your device all the time
A night owl - we ask for help in the morning and we all go to bed pretty early!
Additional note -- we are new to this area of Spain so we may not be able to give you too much advice about how best to get around without a car. I think there are buses but may need someone who is down for exploring and practicing their Spanish!
Look forward to hearing from you :)

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are an open, creative, and fun loving family. I’m American and work as a creative director . We love cooking and spending our weekends exploring the gorgeous nature on our doorstep.
Competent English is important for communicating with us and the children, but we are open to helping you improve your conversational language skills so you needn't be a pro :)
We would love to show our kids that there is a big wide world out there so other cultures, customs and cooking are very much welcome in our home. -

What else ...
Sotogrande in Spain is a car-culture so it may take some googling to work out how best to get around to other towns via public transport. We've only recently arrived ourselves but are happy to help you in any way we can.
