I stayed at Katie and Earl's place for 3 weeks and I really enjoyed every minute of it. I really enjoyed spending time with the kids and getting to know all of them. The activities me and the kids did were playing in the garden, drawing, reading books or freebuilding with Lego. All of these activities were fun, and we never really got bored. The

They respected me and my space, which is why I felt at home with them and would totally recommend them as a workaway host. In general, Katie and Earl's family were the best hosts I could have imagined and would totally go back and spend more time at their house and their family.

Lisa was with us for 3 weeks and she was a wonderful addition to our household. She is extremely capable, confident and her English is excellent. Our kids loved spending time with her, and she was creative and motivated to get them involved in fun activities, whether it was playing footie with our eldest, or drawing with our 4 year old, or

Hanna stayed with us for a month and she was such a wonderful guest in our house. She helped us with household chores like tidying, folding laundry and kitchen cleaning but she also assisted with our young kids and they adored her. She was very patient and sweet with our toddler, who loved being with Hanna in the garden, or walking in the town.

Her English is excellent and we had no problem communicating with her. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her and would welcome her back anytime.

I was with Katie and Earl's family for a month in October, and had an amazing time there. All members of the family are genuinely curious, social, and they just radiate such happiness that it's always a true privilege to be able to spend time with them. The kids are very active, and a lot of fun, I loved getting to know them, playing with them,

I had an unexpected but very good experience during my month there, with the birth of their fourth child, which I'm very grateful for! Frome is a gorgeous town with lots to see also in the surrounding area, I had many chances to travel which was an added bonus to the overall joy of just being with this family. I miss all of them loads, and recommend them highly! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

I stayed with this amazing family for 7 weeks, and they’re the friendliest and most respectful hosts I could ever ask for! The tasks were mostly about helping to tidy up and keep the house organised, with some babysitting when Katie & Earl were preparing dinner. The kids are super active, outgoing, and connect with everyone easily. We had so much
… read more fun playing football, puzzles, Legos, Hotwheels, and watching Teletubbies together. The kids are so full of ideas you’re never bored with them. Even though there were three energetic kids in the house, babysitting them was never stressful. They always respected my boundaries, and Katie & Earl ensured my working hours were fair. Katie and Earl are also very thoughtful and flexible. I really appreciated it when they allowed me to take a week off to visit my dad in Switzerland.
Frome is a really cozy town with lots of great bakeries, cafes, and charity shops to explore. There’s always some community activity happening, and my favourite spot is the library -it has vast book collections! Public transportation is very convenient, with direct trains/buses to London/Bristol. The house also has a great location -just 15 minutes by foot from Frome’s town center.
I feel so lucky to have spent Christmas and New Year’s with this wonderful family🎄✨ They invited me to their grandfather’s for Christmas, and I got to bake gingerbread cookies with Jake & Dylan! We also had many lovely cultural exchanges, and I really enjoyed my conversations with Katie & Earl. I wish Jake, Dylan, Hartley, and Stella all the happiness and health as they grow up💗💗💗 Thank you so much for everything -hope to see you all again someday! 🌟

I was on a gap year and I was looking for a cultural exchange experience to see other horizons and above all to learn in another way. I was very happy to come across a family like Katie's! I stayed with them for a little less than two months and I learned a lot! They respected my boundaries a lot and were very respectful with working hours. They

Children are very fun and very creative, we can't get bored with them!
I was able to travel during the weekends and discover England!
Their house is very nice and the village is very cute!
My job was varied as I could cook, look after Hartley, play with Jake and Dylan or help tidy up the house!
If you are still hesitant, don't hesitate any longer and go to them!!
