Description
We are an active, semi retired couple living on a beautiful 2 hectare property, 20 minutes drive from Tauranga city. Our large garden and avocado and lime orchard is on the inner harbour with peace and quiet and beautiful views. We are on the edge of a local cycleway and can lend 2 bikes for you to explore. We have lots of other fruit trees, a large vegie garden, a few chicken, and a cat. There is always lots to do to keep the place in order (although generally a week at a time is all we can accommodate). Spring is a busy time with pruning and planting so extra help is always welcome - we like to grow a lot of our food & what we do buy is generally wholesome & natural.
We have travelled extensively and enjoy meeting people from all cultures. Couples, friends, singles ok.
We are non smokers & so non smokers, non vaping please.

We can introduce workawayers to the gardening and orchard practices we employ but always open to learn different approaches used in other countries.
We have travelled extensively in NZ and happy to share our knowledge for their further travels.

Looking for people to help alongside with us to prepare and plant veggie gardens, assist with pruning fruit trees, general clean up and maintenance of our orchard and garden.

Accommodation
We have a beautifully renovated, warm, self contained studio attached to our barn for you to stay in, separate from our house. See photos. It has a cooktop, microwave, fridge and also bbq on the deck. Internet and plenty of space to park your car or camper van is available.

No public transport from our area but could collect you from intercity bus, or Tauranga city area if needed.
