Description
Dear fam, my name is Richard. In 2022 I decided to quit my job and sell my apartment in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, bought a car and a caravan and made the move to follow my dream and live off-grid in Spain. After a year and a half of looking for a finca I finally found the right place in Terra Alta. It's a beautiful area in the mountains and its famous for its wine. My land is on the edge of a valley where there are good climbing spots, and el parc Nacional dels Ports, and the Via Verde cycling route are only 15 to 30min drive from the land. The closest city, Tortosa is 30min drive. From here you can get a train to Barcelona (2.5hrs) or Valencia (3hrs), and there is a busterminal from where you can get a bus to the village where my finca is. The finca is less than 1km from the village. And the closest beach is in El Perelló which is a 45min drive.
Besides building a cabin and living off-grid and self-sustainable, I'm creating a wellness/retreat center, and a food forest according to the permaculture philosophy. Im looking for volunteers who are eager to co-create this dream of mine.Types of help and learning opportunities
