    Description

I Ben (performer, mindfulness meditation teacher, musician), my gorgeous daughter Dixie Lu who is 15, and our super cute black cat Derek live here in the village of Montbrun Bocage 60km south of Toulouse. We live in a small house on the edge of the village and in our yard is a renowned social / cultural centre. In this club we put on shows, concerts, and host workshops. Most of the activities are non profit.
We also have a small garden… the plan is to develop the veg garden on permacultural principals as soon as possible.
I work mainly performing at street theatre festivals so if you are here longer term I may have to disappear for a few days, in which case Dixie will be with her mum!

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

You could be learning French, English, circus skills, mediation, gardening, basic permacultural principals..etc. There are lots of interesting characters in the area from all over the world, and despite the fact that we are in the countryside the area is quite lively culturally.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

In the garden there is a gorgeous gypsy-esque wagon and a cute caravan… they are sometimes rented and if you come you will probably stay in one of these. The wagon has a wood burner and the caravan has electric heating so year round accommodation is no problem. We also have a small self contained spare room.
3 meals a day will be provided

    What else ...

This is a great unspoilt area, good for walks, cycling (we have bikes), skiing (50km from here). There's loads of music happening in the area, and there are some great markets, the best and most authentic of which is in our local village on Sunday mornings.
