  Hallo!
  Wir sind eine große Familie (Elisabeth, Franz, Julia (25), Kathrin (12) und Elisa (10)) mit einem großen Haus und Garten. Neben Deutsch sprechen wir (hauptsächlich unsere Töchter) auch noch sehr gut Englisch und ein bisschen Spanisch. Wir wohnen in einem kleinen Ort (Hagenberg) im Mühlviertel, auf dem Land. Im Sommer ist hier immer viel los. Wir haben einen großen Pool, einen riesigen Gemüsegarten, Hühner, Gänse, Fischteiche, Katzen, Hasen und eine Schildkröte.
  Man kann hier auch viele Sachen unternehmen. Zum Beispiel eignet sich diese Gegend hervorragend für Wanderungen (es gibt viele wunderschöne Wanderwege). Auch kleinere Seen (oder Bäche) befinden sich in der Nähe. Auch Bahnhof, Supermärkte und Restaurants sind nicht weit von uns entfernt. Außerdem erreicht man die nächstgrößere Stadt Linz nach ca 20 Minuten (oder mit dem Zug oder Bus), was auf jeden Fall auch einen Ausflug wert ist. Wer es also lieber ruhig (aber auch nicht zu ruhig :)) mag, Kinder und Tiere gern hat, und natürlich Entspannung auf dem Land sucht, ist bei uns auf jeden Fall richtig!
  Wir würden uns sehr freuen, wenn uns jemand bei anfallenden Arbeiten helfen möchte, falls es gerade mal etwas zu tun gibt. Vor allem geht es uns aber um den kulturellen (sprachlichen, sozialen) Austausch!
  Wir haben meistens Platz für ca 2-4 Personen.
  
  Hi!
  We are a big family (Elisabeth, Franz, Julia (25), Kathrin (12) and Elisa (10)). Apart from German we (our daughters) speak very good English and also a little bit Spanish. We live in a big house in the countryside (20 km from Linz) with a really big garden. There we have got a big pool and some animals (hens, geese, cats, rabbits, a turtle, and fish ponds.) We also grow most of our vegetables in summer by ourselves, so we have got a huge vegetable garden. The town we live in is called Hagenberg (it is located in the Mühlviertel). We are very sociable people and we would really like to get to know new people and culture.
  This area is great for a lot of things. For example, for hiking, because there are many wonderful and beautiful trails. There are also some smaller lakes, where you can go swimming or spend the day. Of course, you can also visit museums, ruins, castles or whatever you like (just ask!). There is a train station (~3 km away) and a bus station (~300 m away) from where you can easily reach the next biggest city "Linz". It is definitely worth visiting Linz one day. There you can visit the "Pöstlingberg", go shopping in the beautiful "old town", visit the "Ars Electronica Center" and so on...
  Of course, in our town you can also go out in the evening in some bars or just for dinner.
  If you want to have a break from city life, or if you just want to get to know new people and you like kids and animals you are definitely at the right place here. We would be very glad if someone helps us in the garden or also in the house (whatever work needs to be done..) but the most important thing for us is the cultural exchange (getting to know new people, practicing the language...). Of course, we would also like to show you around, if you like to. It would be a pleasure to meeting you!

  Somos una familia grande (Elisabeth, Franz, Julia (25), Kathrin (12), Elisa (10)). Hablamos Aleman, Ingles y un pocito Español. Vivimos en una casa grande (20 km de Linz) con un jardín grande. Tenemos una piscina y unos animales (gallinas, gansos, gatos, conejos, una tortuga y peces). Tenemos una huerta grande también. El lugar se llama "Hagenberg" ("Mühlviertel").
  Hay muchos caminos para caminar, unos lagos para nadar y otra cosas para visitar. Hay una estación de tren y una estación de autobuses. También hay restaurantes y bares. Puedes visitar Linz (la capital de Alta Austria) también. En Linz tienes muchas posibilidades (visitar museos, visitar el centro histórico, ir de compras ...).
  Lo mas importante no es el trabajo, sino el cambio cultural. Si tienes ganas de conocer la vida rural esto es algo para ti. Tenemos espacio para 2-4 personas.

  Wie gesagt, wohnen wir auf dem Land. Wenn du das Leben einer österreichischen Großfamilie kennenlernen möchtest, dann bist du auf jeden Fall hier richtig. Die Landschaft dieser Gegend ist sicher sehr einzigartig und bietet großartige Wanderwege und auch Radwege. (Fahrrad könnten wir auch zur Verfügung stellen).
  Natürlich möchten wir auch unsere sprachlichen Kenntnisse verbessern und neue Menschen und Kulturen kennenlernen. Wir würden natürlich auch gerne traditionelle österreichische Küche anbieten.
  
  As already said above, we are living in a rural area. If you like to get to know Austrian life in a big family in the countryside you are right here. The most unique thing in this area here is the landscape, so if you like to be in the nature and like hiking it is a very good chance to do so here.
  We could also share our cooking skills, because we can cook very well (Austrian traditional food).
  Of course, we also like to practice our language skills and get to know new cultures.

  Help

  Meistens fällt bei uns viel Gartenarbeit (Rasenmähen, Hecken schneiden, Pool pflegen, Gemüsepflanzen und Blumen gießen...) an. Aber auch über Hilfe bei der Hausarbeit freuen wir uns.
  Wie gesagt, das wichtigste ist für uns der kulturelle Austausch und die Sprachen zu verbessern.
  
  Most of the time it is work in the garden (like mowing the lawn, cleaning / taking care of the pool, watering the plants and flowers, taking care about the hedges...). We are also glad about help with housework or other work that needs to be done.
  But as I said before, the most important thing for us is the cultural exchange, practicing languages and getting to know new people.
