Description
Our community belongs to the Hare Krishna social movement and we have a nice place (2.5 acres) near Malaga (Spain).
We have about 15 people living in the community.
There is a central building where our temple is situated and and a few houses where our residents live.
On Sundays we receive about 40/50 guests who come to participate in the temple program.
There are big gardens and 2 plots dedicated to agriculture and fruit trees.
Due to the sunny and hot weather we grow some tropical fruits such as avocados, mangos, chirimoyas, guavas, bananas and a variety of flowers and vegetables.
Our place is very well connected:
-Airport: 10 min
-Malaga city: 15 min
-Beach: 7 min
-Train to Malaga, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Marbella... 5 min
- Country side: 15 min
Just next to our property there is a beautiful botanical garden with a very peaceful atmosphere.
Our diet is majorly vegan like lentils, salads, soup, rice, etc., but some preparations do contain milk, cottage cheese (Panir) and yogurt occasionaly. We welcome vegans and can adjust accordingly replacing with vegan cheese etc.,
We serve breakfast and lunch, we do not serve dinner but there is always some fruits, and cakes.
As we do abstain from meat, fish and eggs, smoking and drinking alcohol and drugs. our volunteers are asked to do the same.
We ask for a medical insurance that covers you in Spain.
