Hello! I live in an amazing part of France with one cat, one dog, 2 birds in a big countryside french farmhouse. My daughters are away studying and my son only here on weekends.
I have been living in this house in this part of the south west France for many years, gradually renovating and restoring as I can. I do many things, and have also completed a similar project in restoring a large house and converting them into holiday appartements. This is my principal activity running this bed and breakfast business, but I do not require help in this area as during winter time we dont have any guests and this is the period that I concentrate on my other projects. such as doing plans and project management for house renovations so I sometimes have to go out on jobs in the day time and Doggy, my faithful companion of 14 years gets very lonely and pines for company, one of the big reasons I would like to have someone that likes animals at the house. I usually have 2 people helping me here.
I am working on improving my main house as it is so big and overwelming to get this done all by myself! Any help with this will be very much appreciated. I also have many projects in the garden such as felling trees, burning off areas, installing outside barbecue spaces, outdoor living. My pool is in need of an upgrade to so lots of areas to learn! I am experienced in building, electricity, plumbing, architectural plans so can offer lots of things to learn. I am looking for help in all of these projects It is a 15 century building with old stone walls, fireplaces, lots of potential and charm so I am looking for motivated and dynamic people that can try their hand at any type of renovating, organising, tidying, cooking, gardening etc. Note that the cleaning work and all other tasks required are in my own home, not in my bed and breakfast property.

In a 15th century building, 60cm thick stone walls, fireplaces and pot belly stoves to heat in winter. You will have a private room, shared bathroom. We are working on the main house and renovating the bathroom and main living areas but the house is big and plenty of space to get away from the working area when needed!
Food included during your stay.
, I follow a healthy low carb diet, mostly vegetables bought from farmers' markets and avoid processed foods. I do also eat meat. ;-) Anyone liking cooking is welcome as well!
Saint Emilion is a few kilometers away, a Unesco classed village. There is a bicycle path that goes for 100's of kms from just down the road, traversing vineyards and fields, and going all the way to the sea. Underground caves and tunnels in the vicinity. Note that we are in a rural area, closest bus stop 4 kms away.....
