Description
We are Aaf and Henk, two boomers from the Netherlands, who live in the beautifull region Alta Garrotxa, Catalunya , Spain , in an by ourself rebuild farmhouse with 4 apartments. We share the totally offgrid facilities like dry toilet, drawing water from a (rainwater) cistern, solar electricity, and burning wood from our own forest. It is a remote place, half an hour by 4x4 to the shops and a city(Olot). A paradise for naturelovers and hikers. Only for those who seek peace and quiet. Vegetarian non smoking. Sauna in stead of shower!

Help
We need help in making firewood, routines in and around the house, improving our acces road and maintenance of the forest. We have all the equipment, overall handy and willingness to learn is more important than special skills. We will mostly do tasks together.

Accommodation
You have your own apartment with kitchen and woodstove with 2 beds. Sanitary facilities and fridge are shared. Breakfast and lunch are mostly on your own, diner is partially shared and partially on your own. All on our costs, except alcohol and luxury foods.
What else ...
(electrical ) mountainbikes are at your disposal. We go 2 times a week to Olot for shopping, you can join us or let us know what you need. For us is a “click” with you important, we want to share the love for the environment.
