    Description

We are a Franco-Chilean couple living at the foothill of the Malalcura Mountain, in the village of San Fabian, 5 hours south of Santiago and 1 hour up to the Andes. We recently bought a land with wonderful native forest and we are still thinking about our project. We want to build our home there and an organic vegetables garden and orchard. We are mountaineers, and we work in tourism with local horseman (Kora) and in wildlife conservation (Chalo). We have a kid (Mateo) who has some months and gives smiles to everyone. We know almost every corner in the region, and we can take you in a beautiful trip in the mountains. We love food, as good French, Kora have a magic recipes book from her grandmother with delicious dishes you can try if you work hard!!

For us it is very important to live in a natural and healthy way, we eat almost everything organic. We are not vegetarians, just because the local goats bred in the mountain are so good!!

Come and enjoy with us the nature in San Fabian!

We are agronomists, and we work on tourism with local people from the mountains. Kora is a botanist with a wide knowledge about native flora, and Chalo is a conservation biologist specialized on bats. With us you could learn about our wildlife, and meet local horseman from the Andes, go to climb or to hike the mountains surrounding the village...

We are still thinking about our project, for instance we have a lot of blackberry to cut and remove, we need a place to stock our compost, we want to repair an old cellar where we stock our tools, we want to open a path into the native forest and build two bridges to cross a little river. During autumn we will need help to trim the fruit trees of the garden, and to plant new trees . Also we want to cut some huge pines (exotic species) to saw them in order to obtain wood for our house. We need to enclose the land to avoid the entrance of the neighbour goats and sheep. You only will need energy and good vibes!!

And we need a dry toilet...
