Description
Ciao! We are Erika and Andrea, both 32, living in the stunning countryside of Ostuni, Puglia. I'm a digital product designer, and Andrea is a film director. We share our home with Lola and Milo, our two sweet cats.
Our home is nestled on a hill surrounded by olive groves, fruit trees, and beautiful Mediterranean plants, just 20 minutes driving from the sea. The area is known for its beautiful landscapes, whitewashed villages, and sunny weather nearly all year round, offering the perfect backdrop for a peaceful yet inspiring experience.
We speak Italian, English, and Spanish and we love sharing moments around good food, especially using fresh produce from our land, such as olive oil, fruits, and herbs, as part of a broader lifestyle deeply connected to nature.
Our project is to renovate a traditional countryside guesthouse while also preserving and caring for the surrounding vegetation. We’re creating a warm, welcoming space where nature, creativity, and community come together. By joining us, you’ll help bring new life to the property and contribute to protecting the unique natural environment that makes this land so special. 🌱🌞🍊🍋Types of help and learning opportunities

Staying with us offers a unique chance to experience life in the heart of Puglia, surrounded by nature, local traditions, and warm community vibes. You’ll learn how to care for fruit trees, maintain a vegetable garden, and help with creative DIY projects as we restore and personalize our guesthouse together.
We’re open-minded and love sharing good music, local festivals, and the hidden gems of our area. Our passion for food means you’ll also get to explore Italian cuisine and learn how to prepare simple yet delicious dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients from the land.
Additionally, if you’re curious, we’re happy to share insights from our creative professions—design, photography, and film—but only if that’s something that interests you. Our focus is on creating a welcoming, inspiring space where you can connect with nature, culture, and new ideas.Help
We’re looking for enthusiastic, hands-on helpers to join us in our journey of transforming our countryside guesthouse into a welcoming, sustainable retreat. Tasks will include:
- Assisting with light DIY projects, such as painting, sanding, or assembling furniture—don’t worry, we’ll work on these tasks together and guide you every step of the way.
- Helping maintain the property, including tidying up outdoor spaces, caring for fruit trees, and tending to the vegetable garden.
No prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and a love for nature and creativity. If you enjoy working with your hands and want to be part of a meaningful project in a beautiful setting, we’d love to have you join us!Languages

We offer a unique private bedroom carved into the rock, with a spacious double bed and an independent entrance. The room provides a cozy, rustic atmosphere, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of the landscape. The bathroom is shared with us.
For food, it’s up to the volunteer to arrange all their meals, but we can take care of lunch during the workdays :)What else ...
During your time off, there are plenty of activities to enjoy in our beautiful countryside. From our home, you can easily walk to a small minimarket for daily essentials, while for exploring the charming towns nearby—such as Ceglie Messapica, Martina Franca, or Alberobello—a car is highly recommended.
You might spend your days wandering through olive groves, discovering hidden trails, or simply relaxing and soaking in the peaceful rural setting. We’re happy to share our favorite local spots where you can taste authentic Puglian cuisine, allowing you to immerse yourself in the local culture and the serene beauty of the land.A little more information

Internet works great and you have pretty much all you need in there. Working hours are also super cool, so you'll have enough time to explore and do your own stuff. A great experience.
