    Description

Hi! We are a couple who are part of an artistic collective based in a beautiful area near Cagliari, between the sea and the mountains. We dedicate our lives to sound and art research, self-organization practices, and permaculture and agricultural experimentation.

So, as you can imagine, we like to find for this place, other people like us with creative mood, in love with nature and ready to involve themself in our life project with heart, so with energy but without losing their own path.

We're primarily looking for people to help us improve the functionality and aesthetics of our place, and to lovingly care for our plants and animals.
Our land covers approximately 2.5 hectares (6 acres) of Mediterranean scrubland, with junipers, lentisks, asphodel, and thyme. It includes an olive grove with about 100 trees, and a food forest we started in March 2022 in a roughly 15-year-old orchard. The orchard contains orange, lemon, fig, avocado, apricot, and many other trees, surrounded by horticultural crops, succulents, and aromatic herbs. We've set up an outdoor patio with a kitchen area, tables, and sofas, a compost toilet, and a camping area near the magical shade of a row of cypresses, close to a small house we're restoring. We also have a 7-meter bus that was gifted to us, which we'd like to turn into an interesting communal space.
Our place is located on the slopes of the Setti Fradis mountains in southeast Sardinia, with their wonderful scenery, spectacular woods, rivers, and trekking and mountain biking trails. It's also just a 15-minute drive to the nearest beach, 10 minutes to the closest town, Maracalagonis, and less than half an hour to Cagliari city center. The area is served by a bus, though only a few times a day. Many friends live nearby on their own land and in their houses, creating a sort of community who have chosen to live in the countryside and pursue many interesting projects.
Currently, we are three human friends living here, with a mostly vegan/vegetarian diet, along with our animal companions: Niedda, a sweet 13-year-old female dog; Ika, a two-year-old dog; and three cats, Nixi, Chinisa, and Alicchi. Our chicken flock includes Cioko and Ciuculate (brown), Ombrita and Noghedda (black), Arbedda, Arla, and Ni (white), Timi and Dina (white with spots), and Straciatella (our black and white rooster)!
It's very important to us to find cheerful people who are involved in permaculture, have a love for art, and experience with bio/wood construction and restoration. Write to us for more information!

The most requested help would be garden maintenance.

IN SUMMER WE SEARCH SOMEONE WITH GOOD HEART AND GOOD EYES to irrigate vegetable garden and trees, giving care to any plant asking for more water, or asking for cutting weeds or give some nutrients or shadows. Sometimes can be necessary also to feed the animals, 2 dogs, 5 chickens and 3 cats!✨✨✨
