Description
We are based in Medan. Please read UPDATE for our next Workaway location.
Medan is a cool city to check out authentic local culture in Indonesia. There is almost no tourist here. Kualanamu airport KNO is the main entry point to Sumatra, sixth largest island in the world with interesting places such as Bukit Lawang (Orang Utan), Lake Toba (the world largest volcanic lake), Nias (surfing) and more. Great to explore Sumatra first, before going on to Jakarta, Java, Bali, Lombok, Raja Ampat and more.
