Description
I am a writer and spoken word artist. Currently I have a few writing projects (such as organizing story writing and reading events, working on an anthology etc..). I am also active in community projects. I enjoy dancing and lead a physically active life. My place is quiet, very clean. and well organized. Hygiene is important specially since the bathroom will be shared . My main language is English but I am learning Spanish and love Latin American literature as well as those of my own background -Persian. There will be house hold chores to do for my workaday and some social media work perhaps. I only take women. Minimum age 18. Young writers will benefit from staying with me and will have the opportunity to access my networks of writers, storytellers and dancers.
Very very important, since sometimes we communicate a few months in advance. Please make sure you keep in touch at least two. to four weeks before your arrival. -

I am published author. Currently I have a writing project where women from different countries can submit their stories to be reviewed and published on website in the form of creative non-fiction. I volunteer for food bank social justice committee and a local environmental group and am happy to share my experience as a social activist on various community based projects.

I have a writing project which requires a lot of research and writing, I need a volunteer to help with housework, cleaning, shopping, washing dishes & laundry. Someone who is able to improve and maintain my place tidy and clean. I would need a some gardening.

One furnished room with one bed in an upper duplex with three bed rooms, one bathroom. A table to work on. The room has good light and nice view.

Learn or improve English and French, Montreal has many free activities throughout the year, community based teaching events through local cooperatives, easy transport with many buses with accurate schedules, it is a quiet neighbourhood ideal for reading and learning.
