    Description

We are a family farm busy with small scale agriculture, forestry and beekeeping.

We are a family of four: parents and two daughters. One of us parents is a Chemistry and Biology teacher, and the other one a librarian. We're looking for a volunteer who genuinely likes being around children and who sees a farmstay not only as volunteer work abroad but most importantly as cultural exchange and a chance to get to know new friends. We can only take one volunteer at a time, or possibly a small family.

Our beautiful farm is surrounded by scenic fields and forests, and it is situated by a small lake suitable for swimming. It is a quiet place: a twenty-minute drive away from the train station, the local village centre, and the nearest grocery store, and an hour's drive from Tampere, where we quite often go for various activities. The Art Town Mänttä is also only a twenty minute drive away from our farm.

We're LGBT friendly and hope that you are, too!
