    Welcome to our finca Located between Santa Marta and Palomino, in the Sierra Nevada foothills, we're passionate about creating a sustainable eco-lodge, producing organic handmade chocolate, and sharing the magic of our cacao farm. Imagine waking up to Caribbean sea-views, immersing yourself in lush nature, and enjoying a bounty of local produce.

    Lodging: Enjoy the beautiful surroundings and natural wonder of Colombia.
    Food: We provide food & free use of our kitchen/supplies. You must also be able/prepared to cook for yourself if/when others are busy.
    Language Skills: Practice your Spanish, French, and/or English!
    Culinary Paradise: Enjoy our 25-30 varieties of fruit and veg grown on our farmstead.
    Organic Practices: Learn traditional skills and techniques for harvesting cacao.
    Community: Meet like-minded people with a passion for adventure, nature and sustainability.

    We looking for motivated people to help us for 5hrs/day (5 days/week) in exchange for food and accommodation - for a minimum of 1 month stay.

    Areas of help we require:

    *PRIORITY* = Light construction/carpentry! We need people with carpentry/building experience. Our short-term focus is final touches to our new constructions, as well as building new furniture, using sustainable methods & materials.
    Agriculture: Help to nurture and harvest our fruit trees, fermentation & learn the art of manufacturing delicious chocolate.
    General: Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Finca & eco-lodge.

    Volunteers will stay in our brand-new staff dormitory. Separated from the main building for privacy, your dormitory bungalow overlooks the lush jungle of our farm, complete with breath-taking Carribean-sea views.

    Food will be provided. Often our highest praise goes to our French chef, Polo. Enjoy 3 of his tasty meals each day.

    With your time off, feel free to visit:

    - National Park = Tayrona Park, the famously idyllic highlight of the region is just 20-30 minutes away by bus.
    - Beach = Palomino, the local surf spot and a favourite hang-out for tourists, is 20-30 mins in opposite direction (by bus).
    - Village = Buritaca is the closest village/town on the main road. Here you can pick up basic necessities, groceries, etc.
    - Excursions = Visit local beaches in the area. Hike the Lost City Trek to visit home of the ancient indigenous Tayrona peoples. Float down Rio Buritaca on a tubing experience.
    - Party = There are plenty of places locally, hosting parties on various nights of the week.
    - City = Santa Marta, the historic coastal city and travel hub. 1-2hrs by road. Pick up larger supplies, visit markets etc.

    Alternatively, you are welcome to stay on the Finca! Enjoy your time swinging in a hammock, reading a book, indulging in the finest chocolate & drinking the freshest, hand-picked fruit juice!

    All distances/times shown, are to our 'Main Road' access: from there, a 20 minute walk up to the Finca. Transport can be arranged, at an extra cost.
