Description
We are currently developing an organic farm in Cebu Philippines. Our Farm is the nature based holistic retreat center of the Urban Center. We aim to awaken individual's consciousness of their own power to heal themselves and others. At the same time, the farm is also being developed as an organic farm.
We are a member of the Holistic Centers Network. Our organization, in its own humble ways, is contributing into the visioning of the future of healthcare. Our driving force is the fact that a lot of people are disempowered instead of being empowered. So we wish to inspire and encourage people to take charge of their health through empowering health education.
Our other activities include publishing health empowering educational materials like books and dvds, and conducting seminars to communities and various groups who are interested to learn more about self health empowerment.

Our place has been taking part in crafting the future of healthcare for quite some time now. Our purpose and mission is to empower people to take control of their health. We are crafting the future of healthcare through innovations on health, wellness and wholeness.
Our educational paradigm is unique as we focus on simplifying the complicated, teaching to people that there are only 2 bottomline root causes of diseases, which is toxicity and deficiency, on the body mind and higher life energy levels. The concepts we teach are not the usual concepts taught in the current conventional medical models which are widely influenced by the pharmaceutical industry. We also have an advocacy whose mission is to reach out to the communities and empower them to be their own best doctors to themselves. Taking part in the movement that empowers people is indeed rewarding.
We envision a Wholeness Training Center - a nature-based holistic retreat center destination where there will be ecological structures, organic gardens, training centers for sustainable agriculture, back to nature healing retreats, accommodations close to nature, farmacy instead of pharmacy, and a whole lot more. Perhaps you can help us in imagining how the future of healthcare would look like.
This farmland is located in the highlands of Baranggay Lusaran, Cebu City - around an hour ride away from the Urban Center.
Help
We need help in developing a nature based holistic retreat center and organic farm in the mountain Baranggay of Cebu City, Philippines. The location is around an hour drive away from the city, going towards the mountainous part of Cebu. If you are a nature lover, then this is your place. If you are a city person, then probably this is not your place.
We need help in the following:
Gardening, planting, composting, propagating
Green house management(hydroponics and aquaponics)
Assist in welcoming and entertaining the guests
Permaculture design of the place
Artworks and building works for the retreat center
Co-imagine and co-evolve the design of the holistic retreat center and organic farm
OR Whatever idea/suggestion you think you can contribute or share is welcome.

Accommodation
We have simple basic accommodation for our volunteers, with Starlink satellite internet access.
We also have camping accomodation for those who are amenable to it. Food in the farm is vegetarian.
As the holistic retreat center and organic farm is still in the developmental stage, we encourage you to help in whatever is needed as systems are still being put into place, although we are already operational and open since Jan 7, 2024.
We can accept 1 volunteer at a time.
Duration of Stay: Maximum of 2 weeks
