Help around the house
We encourage you to experience and explore clay in our workshop, giving guidance on making, glazing and firing where required. Craig makes all malt beer with specialty malts and Liz loves to make plant based cheese, yoghurt and other alternative 'creamery' and pantry items such as seitan, tempeh etc. Our village is well placed to day trip and/or explore various areas inc the Sounds, Pelorus Bridge, Havelock, Nelson and Marlborough.
Help may include general gardening/tidying up, seed planting, building raised beds for veges, planting trees, making compost or inside tasks such as painting, and/or cleaning our clay workshop/gallery. Help with preserving and some clay workshop tasks to do with making pottery may also be on the menu.
