Description
I live in a small house in the archipelago outside Stockholm. There I have a big garden with many rooms in different styles and a new kitchen garden. It is a simple life inspired by permaculture ideas and homesteading, without being any of them completely.
My days are usually easygoing pottering around the garden, doing some projects, hanging out with neighbours, or reading by the seaside on the jetty.Types of help and learning opportunities

The island is only connected to the mainland via ferry so there is little culture to do. Instead, you would enjoy the beauty of the archipelago, maybe take the row boat to a near island or similar.
If you´re interested in learning about gardening and DIY I have quite a bit of knowledge.Help
Regular help is always needed in the garden. Besides that it depends on the projects I am doing at the given moment or seasonal activities, such as foraging, chopping wood, felling trees.
Projects can include painting the house, building things, establishing new borders etc.Languages

The house is rather small at just 60 m2. I think for a first stay a week or maybe two is probably max. There is a small guest room with a 120cm bed.
The house is a summer cottage that I've renovated, but it has a more simple standard than normal houses in Sweden would have.
Running water comes from a desalination machine and is used with consideration. Freezer compost toilet for number 2s and number 1s preferably done in nature.
I am an omnivore and a good cock, coking food from all parts of the world. I am also used to vegetarian cooking and can adapt to that. There is always plenty of coffee and Tea, and of course Swedish fika. There is no store on the islands, so any special extras you like in your life - sodas, snacks etc - you need to bring yourself. What else ...
The islands is a bit remote, so ideally you are someone who looks for a quiet retreat. Free time can be used for doing yoga, reading books, exercise, enjoying the sea, walking in the little forest on the islands etc.
There are ferries most days and I am also happy to adapt work schedule to enable trips to the mainland.A little more information
