    Description

After years of traveling the world, we found a place to come back to: a stone house hidden in the forests of Alta Langa.

We’ve been traveling for years — and we still do — so this is not just a home, but a base we return to between journeys.

We are not farmers and we don’t live a traditional countryside life — we are travelers, curious minds, lovers of good food, wine and experiences. Our home is more a meeting point between nature and movement.

When we are here, we love to share: cooking together, going out, exploring the area or simply enjoying the silence and the starry sky.

We are looking for people who want to be part of this balance: helping with simple house tasks and enjoying a genuine cultural exchange, without formalities.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are both passionate travelers and love exchanging stories, ideas, and experiences.
Living here can feel quite remote, so we especially value the human connection and shared moments that come from hosting Workawayers.

For us, this experience is above all about sharing, connecting, and learning from one another.
We love languages and communication — we speak Italian, Spanish, English, and German, and we’re always happy to practice and exchange ideas with people from different backgrounds.

We also enjoy sharing the local culture of our region, Alta Langa.
We like the idea of taking turns cooking, you’re very welcome to share ideas, collaborate, and create together.

In addition, we are interested in alternative and holistic practices such as yoga, meditation, constellations, and other forms of well-being, and we are always open to sharing and learning new things in this area.

  • Help

    Help

We are looking for help with everyday tasks that come with living in a countryside home.
    This includes:
general cleaning and organizing of living spaces
    basic gardening and outdoor maintenance
small, simple tasks around the house
These are all part of our daily life, and tasks we would normally do ourselves as we settle into our home.
No professional skills are required, just a positive attitude and willingness to help.

You will have your own comfortable space within our home environment, with access to a private bathroom.
We aim to create a balance between shared time and personal space.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

Our place is located in a very peaceful and isolated area in the hills of Alta Langa. The hamlet is surrounded by nature and offers complete silence — it’s perfect if you are looking to disconnect, but it may not suit everyone.

The road to reach us is narrow and typical of countryside hills. If you are comfortable driving in rural and hilly areas, it will be fine, but it’s important to be aware that access is not the easiest.

Because of the location, having your own car is highly recommended. If you don’t have a car, we might able to drive you to public transportation occasionally.

Regarding food, we provide simple meals based on our local traditions. At the moment, we do not specifically offer vegan or fully vegetarian meal plans. However, you are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare your own meals if you have specific dietary preferences.

Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies, intolerances, or special dietary requirements so we can discuss it together.

Before confirming the stay, we like to have a short online call to get to know each other, align expectations, and make sure it’s a good match for everyone.
