Description
We are a family runing a tourist farm in weseren part of Slovenia (beautiful Karst region =) ). Our farm is located in the heart of Karst renowed for it's terra rossa soil, wich produces the best Teran wine.
Our family (alo known as Roskeni) has been engaged in agriculture for several centuries. The family name was first mentioned in 1630. Ever since then our ancestors have been making a living from winegrowing, fruit and vegetable production and beekeeping.
In 1995 we have expanded into agricultural tourism, offering home-made culinary delights. We have also arranged accommodiation to let our guests fully enjoy their staying on our farm.
Most of the work is done by our family members, but in the high season (apr.-oct.), we woud be glad to have some extra help.

We would need some help out on the field with fruit and vegetabes, work in the vineyards and maybe help with the animals.
Also is needed general help in and outside the house (gardening, cleaning rooms for guests, cleaning the swiming pool,…) Of course it deppends on the season you will spent with us and the weather.
There is always enough work for all. =)

What else ...
Our farm has a great location. There are a lot of possibilities to enjoy your free time. You can visit famous Škocijan or Postojna caves, beutiful Slovenian coast (Piran, Izola, Koper) or see the capital city Ljubljana. Also you can visit Triest, we stay very close to italian border, or Venice (2 h away), or just ride a bike and discover our beutiful karst villages =).

We had wonderful 2 weeks at the Familys Guesthouse. We stayed there in the last weeks of June when the weather was really nice.
