Help
Hi Travellers,
This is such a wonderful opportunity to meet new people. We look forward to meeting you.
I have accumulated much in my lifetime. Mainly through auctions and previous business and travel.
It’s time to enjoy a simpler life and let it go!
Help needed…organization of items, taking pictures and listing items for reselling, small repairs, listing items for auction and other public platforms as well as donation.
Someone who is highly organized and proficient with these tasks. Who is able to take on tasks with calm kindness. If you are able to help open an online shop, that would be fabulous.
Spring cleaning.
If you are a get your hands dirty, I’d rather be outside, kind of person. I have some fun and rewarding projects for you…From building garden boxes, an arbor, laying pavers, staining the fence, woodwork, laying a deck to create a reading area. Home repairs.
Experience with home repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry would be an asset. Replacing a bathroom fan.
I love to learn and appreciate there are many ways to approach a project.
I am happy to share my skills as well as learn together. Thank you You tube. 😉
Dog walking and bathing as needed. Overnight care, feeding and loving.
You would be easy going, happy, positive, an innovator. Some one who loves to learn and share knowledge. Handy, helpful. Able to see what needs to be done and pitch in.
Organized is needed. Must love animals. Not adverse to frenchie snores.
We would be working together or alone depending on the project, communication and kindness are key.
Tackling a project with a sense of fun, enthusiasm and the joy of achievement is my style.
Hours expected 5 hours a day , 5 days a week. These hours are flexible unless it’s a group project.
This would be discussed in advance with all participating and time agreed upon.
Minimum of one week stay.

Accommodation
This is a three bedroom. Sxs duplex. There is one bedroom available with two single beds. Suitable for one or two. Downstairs there is a two piece bathroom, upstairs a 4 piece bathroom with shower/ bath. We would share the main living areas, kitchen and outdoor space.
Meals … I hope to share evening meal prep and would love to taste food from different cultures. Though if you don’t cook it could be a fun learning experience. I’m happy to share the kitchen. I do like to cook when others are enjoying it as well. My kitchen is usually well stocked with vegetarian and meat options
Special diets would need to be managed by the individual.
What else ...
Buses are available within a 3 min. Walk. Electric bikes and scooters a five min. Walk away. We are 15 mins from Victoria by car. I’m happy to explore the sights, local areas, hikes etc.
Langford lake and Thetis lakes are lovely for swimming, paddle board, kayak. Mill Hill and Mt Finlayson a great hike. Both are close by as well as many other beautiful beaches and outdoor spots.
I’m a pretty quiet, easy going person, I find myself lacking in company and love spending time talking with my farm friends, workaway helpers. They encouraged me to become a workaway host.
My life generally focus’ around animals and nature. Helping friends with their projects.
On occasion we have frenchie babes. This is a fun and busy 8 plus weeks.
Though not a big tv watcher , I do love audiobooks.
Non smoking /non vaping home
No smoking or vaping please.
Clean up after yourself, your room, common areas including dishes.
Be kind to animals
Although I eat pescatarian/vegetarian my furkids are on a raw or home cooked meat diet.
