Description
We live close to many trails, bus routes and walking distance to downtown Langford. Vegetarian home, though the fur kids are on a raw meat diet. Home to 5 fabulous fur kids “frenchies”, and the bosses our cat Tucker and Nyx. I’m a semi retired healthcare professional who enjoys the small joys in life. Love nature, gardening, helping on my friends farm.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Diversity is welcome in my home. I wish to learn from other cultures and share my Canadian/ English one. Though not religious I believe in spiritual peace through nature and being the best one can be.

Help
I am downsizing my home and need help with organization and reselling, listing items for auction and other public platforms. I need someone who is highly organized and proficient with these tasks.
I’d like help with the yard, building simple shelters and maintenance. Experience with home repairs would be an asset. I love to learn and teach. I have maintained my home and always been pretty self sufficient. But definitely not an expert. Dog walking and some animal care.
You would be easy going, happy, positive, an innovator. Some one who loves to learn and share knowledge. Handy, helpful. Organized is needed. Must love animals. Not adverse to frenchie snores.
We would be working together or alone depending on the project.

Accommodation
This is a three bedroom. Sxs duplex. There is one bedroom available with a queen sized bed. Suitable for one or two. Downstairs two piece bathroom that would be your main. An upstairs shared shower/ bath. We would share the main living areas, kitchen and outdoor space. Meals … I would hope to share evening meal prep with other cultures. Though if you don’t cook it could be a fun learning experience. I do like to cook when others are enjoying it as well. My kitchen is usually well stocked with vegetarian options.

What else ...
Buses are available within a 3 min. Walk. I’m happy to show the sights to local areas, hikes etc.
I’m a pretty quiet, easy going person, I find myself lacking in company and love spending time talking with my farm friends workaway helpers. My life generally focus’ around animals and nature. Helping friends with their projects.
On occasion we have frenchie babes. This is a fun and busy 8 plus weeks.
Though not a big tv watcher , I do love audiobooks.
Non smoking /non vaping home
no smoking or vaping please.
Clean up after yourself, your room, common areas including dishes.
Be kind to animals
Vegetarian or vegan preferred. Or be open to eating your meat away from home.
