    Description

We are restoring a Castle in Brittany, in France, that dates back 15th century. We have started a business in the Castle to be able to continue our restoration. We have an Escape Game and a Murder Mystery in the Manor. It's quite amazing to see this place live again and receive so many people!
We are a couple, Claire and Joe, and we have a cat, Gizmo!
This part of Brittany is very beautiful, close to the sea and amazing wild beaches.

Claire is British and French, and Joe is French. We also have a lot of people that come around, family, friends, neighbors. We like to have diners all together in the evening, around a BBQ or a fire when it's colder. Or coffees during the day! We enjoy discussing and exchanging on pretty much everything, all new ideas are always great to share!

    Help

Any help in our project would be fantastic! From builders work or a hand, to de-weeding or participating to anything that can help, every day is different here and we always have something to do! We are happy to be part of history and making this Castle live back its previous glory days!
Joe is doing most of the work himself, with some cousins and friends that come time to time to give hand, for electricity or some builders work. Claire also gives a hand when she is not animating games! We work together as a team!

    Accommodation

We live in a mobil home next to the Castle for the moment. We have a bedroom in the Castle that has been organised for people to stay, and also, during summer, a caravan located under a barn on our land. It's a small but comfortable little caravan with 2 singles beds. The barn has electricity so it's possible to have light and a small heating in the caravan. The bathroom (new shower and new toilet!) are in the Castle (not next to the caravan - just a little walk). There is also a room with a sink in the Castle if needed and a machine for laundry.

    What else ...

If you have a van it's possible to connect to electricity no problem and we have space on our land for you to stay. It's a nice area to go for walks or biking. Fishing is also a popular activity around here.

There is a big barn if the weather conditions don't allow you to stay in the fields (we have 2 big fields too).
