Description
Availability between 6 - 30 November 2025 and looking for help to sand and oil our deck.
We’re a early 40s couple living in the beautiful town of Port Macquarie, halfway between Sydney and Brisbane (4.5 hrs drive to each city).
There is lots to do and see in Port Macquarie:
- beautiful coast walk (you may even see dolphins and depending on the time of year you may see whales migrating up and down the coast!!)
- bush walking
- visit the koala hospital
- kangaroos (across the road!), at the golf course or on the bush walk
- visit North Brother mountain in Laurieton (per photos)
- visit the local brewery and sample a paddle of different beers
- monthly Market with local artists and artisans to showcase and market their unique handmade arts and crafts, gourmet foods, locally grown produce, vintage clothing and handmade jewellery and clothing
- day trips to Crescent Head, South West Rocks, Comboyne, and Laurieton
We live with our very friendly cat and dog. We work part time (Monday-Thursday) and will be excited to show you the area.
We will either host you in our rental guest accommodation downstairs (queen sized bed, kitchenette, bathroom) or upstairs (double bed, private bathroom and toilet).
You’ll have TV (Netflix, prime), wifi, air-con, washing machine, bodyboards, surf board, bikes, beach towels.
What we'd like help with: gardening!!
Work: 5 hours / per person / day for accommodation and food, but flexible on the schedule.
Food: We’ll provide breakfast, lunch and dinner. Homemade kombucha!
Transport: if you’re travelling without a car, we can collect you from the Port Macquarie bus station or airport, or Wauchope train station.
