Help
About us
We need help to do some gardening, deep house cleaning and de-cluttering, pickup's from ferry and, shopping and cooking. Someone who is self sufficient and motivated and loves to fit into a family home.
Our house is in the central part of Waiheke island and only 3 mins walk to the beach. There are sea views from the sitting room and an open plan living/kitchen area.Your sleep-out is below the house and is freshly painted with a lovely double bed and a small chest of drawers. You have your entrance, bathroom and shower next to the front garden. Please note that we are on tank rainwater so showers are limited to 3 mins and washing on the short cycle. The kitchen is average size and easy to cook in. Feel free to relax in the sitting room or go out in the evening. We tend to stay in as we prefer to relax but please join us or do as you please. We like people to feel part of the family so use the house as if it's your home.
Expectations
You will need to cook for the family and yourself, go shopping for food (we will pay for this). You'll have do washing, tiding, cleaning, gardening and cooking.
The kids are lovely and being teenagers, spend a lot of time in their rooms or on the trampoline. We also have a small table tennis and pool table for you to use.
I am happy to help with any English in my spare time and very keen to learn Spanish. We are open to the hours that you would need free for your own time in the day and evening.
We look for 25hours p/week and we can talk about how that is managed. It may be a full days work one day and only a few hours the next.
We look forward to hearing from you.
