hi there,
my name is Janina (41) and I am on the lookout for helping hands. I live with my husband Matthias (59) and my son Fynn (18) on a small farm in the northwestern part of bavaria. with us live on the farm about 20 sheep, 10 goats, 3 horses and a donkey, 5 cats, a dog, some chickens, 2 Peacocks , pigs, and a lot of rabits ... so we are looking for people who like to work with animals.
Currently, my husband works in a sawmill a few minutes away. He worked as an educator before and made the decision to do something new. He is also trained as a nature- and experience guide and works with children and young people with behavioral problems in his freetime.
I made a state-approved training to "experience farmer". That means school classes, youth groups and children come to us to learn about life on a farm. I am also a professional equestrian/ horse trainer.
...and of course I take care of all animals, house and garden.
we are living here since 9 years and it's still not all been renovated, as we would like it, so if you are talented artisan ... welcome :)
the farm is located on a hilltop 3km from the next nearest. the next bus stop is so 3km away, but a car is always here. and also enough bicycle :)
the next major city north of us is Würzburg and it is located about 20 km away. from Monday to Friday during the day there is a good bus connection to Würzburg. who wants to dive into the nightlife has to ask me if I go with him ;)
south of us is the small, but very pretty town Tauberbischofsheim. this can be very easily reached by bicycle. there you can make canoe tours on the river Tauber.
not far away (30km) is a wild animal park in which local and European wild animals live.
300 meters from our farm away is a archer parcours. we can rent you various bows.

mein name ist Janina (41) und ich bin auf der suche nach helfenden händen. ich lebe mit meinem ehemann Matthias (59) und meinem sohn Fynn (18) auf einem kleinen bauernhof im nordwestlichen teil bayerns. mit uns leben auf der farm ca 20 schafe, 10 ziegen, e pferde und ein esel, 5 katzen, einige hühner, schweine, kaninchen und ein Hund…wir suchen also leute, die gerne mit tieren arbeiten.
mein mann arbeitet zur zeit in einem sägewerk in der nähe. Nach langer zeit als erzieher in einer geschlossenen heimunterbringung wurde es zeit für etwas neues. zusätzlich hat er eine ausbildung als natur- und erlebnisguide und arbeitet mit verhaltensauffälligen kindern und jugendlichen in seiner freizeit.
ich selbst habe eine staatlich zertifizierte ausbildung zur "Erlebnisbäuerin" gemacht. das heißt, zu uns auf dem hof kommen schulklassen, kinder und jugendgruppen um etwas über das bauernhofleben zu erfahren und zusammenhänge zu erlernen. von beruf bin ich eigentlich pferdewirtin und deswegen gebe ich ab und zu noch reitunterricht (western) ...und natürlich kümmere ich mich um tiere, haus und garten.
wir leben seit 9 jahren hier und es ist noch nicht alles so renoviert, wie wir das gerne hätten, also wenn ihr handwerklich begabt seid... herzlich willkommen :)
der bauernhof liegt auf einer anhöhe 3km ausserhalb der nächsten ortschaft. die nächste bushaltestelle ist somit 3km entfernt, aber ein auto ist immer da. und auch genug fahrräder :)
die nächste große stadt nördlich von uns ist Würzburg und sie liegt ca 20 km entfernt. von montag bis freitag gibt es tagsüber eine gute busverbindung nach Würzburg. wer sich ins nachtleben stürzen möchte muss mich wahrscheinlich fragen, ob ich mitkomme ;)
südlich von uns liegt die kleine, aber sehr hübsche stadt Tauberbischofsheim. diese kann man sehr gut mit dem fahrrad erreichen. dort kann man auf dem fluss Tauber kanu touren machen.
nicht weit entfernt(30km) liegt ein wildtierpark, in welchem einheimische und europäische wildtiere leben.
300 meter von unserem bauernhof entfernt liegt ein bogenschieß parcour. wir können euch verschiedene bögen ausleihen.

already described above, we have many animals, so the work is usually also associated with it. for example. muck out, feed, repair fences, etc ...
I have a garden with a (tomato) greenhouse and several beds for vegetable growing. even there I could use your help. of course only seasonally.
I need urgent assistance with housework! (I confess, I hate housework)
and if you have fun on renovation work, I would be delighted.
wie oben schon beschrieben haben wir viele tiere, also ist die arbeit meistens auch damit verbunden. zb. ställe reinigen, füttern, zäune reparieren usw...
ich habe einen garten mit einem gewächshaus und mehreren beeten zum gemüseanbau. auch dort könnte ich deine hilfe gebrauchen. natürlich nur saisonal.
dringend brauche ich unterstützung bei der hausarbeit. (ich hasse hausarbeit)
und wenn du spaß an renovierungsarbeiten hast würde ich mich freuen.

I think this is more addressed to the vegetarian among you ...
for our needs we slaughter our goats and sheep by ourselves. (possibly during your time here)
but of course you must not eat. I cook fresh every day (if I manage) with plenty of vegetables.
We are smokers, but only outside!!!
