    "It´s not your job to make it happen, its your job to dream it and let it happen."
    Abraham Hicks
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Hello dear animal-loving soul,
    welcome to the centre of conciousness and mindfulness für humans and animals.
    A small sanctuary and educational project in in the beautiful Black Forest, close to Baden-Baden, Freiburg and Karlsruhe.
    The farm is home to horses, rescued goats, sheep, cats and rabbits living on 5 hectares of beautiful land.
    Many of the animals living here today came from shelters or difficult backgrounds and have found their forever home with us. Their wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.
    We are usually looking for mindful and joyful volunteers for a minimum stay of one month (+).
    💛 THE ANIMALS COME FIRST
    Above all else, this project exists for the animals.
    The animals are not viewed as resources, tools or therapy assistants. They are respected as individual beings with their own needs, personalities and dignity.
    Because of this, we feel that our project is a particularly good fit for people who genuinely love animals and care deeply about their quality of life.
    You do not need professional animal experience.
    What matters most is kindness, sensitivity and a sincere appreciation for animals as sentient beings.
    🦄 ABOUT US
    I (Frauke) am the founder, a social worker, psychotherapist (Gestalttherapie), animal-assisted therapist and spiritual vision and business mentor.
    For more than 25 years, our non-profit organization "Pferde bewegen Menschen e.V." has developed in co-creation with an animal related Institute educational projects around:
    • mindful human-animal relationships
    • species-appropriate animal care
    • sustainability and permaculture
    • conscious leadership
    • fundraising for meaningful projects
    • vision development and purpose-driven work
    • mindfulness and meditation
    Today we are exploring how these experiences can be shared more widely through educational resources, online learning and digital communities.
    👩‍🦰 YOU MIGHT ENJOY STAYING WITH US
    if you:
    • deeply love animals
    • enjoy learning and sharing knowledge (On- and Offline)
    • care about sustainability and mindful living
    • are curious about online education, digital communities and Social Media
    • like contributing ideas and creativity into the world
    • appreciate both independence and collaboration
    • are self-directed and able to work independently
    • enjoy simplicity, nature and conscious living
    Many of our guests are digital nomads, students, entrepreneurs, creatives, educators or professionals who enjoy exchanging experiences while continuing their own personal or professional projects.
    Be aware: this is not a retreat, therapy centre or healing community.
    * It is a place for people who love animals
    * value mindfulness and enjoy peace and quiet
    * who are seeking enriching cultural exchange
    * who want to make a real difference in the world
    💻 WHY OUR DIGITAL PROJECTS MATTER
    Many of our educational and fundraising activities ultimately serve one purpose:
    to create a more compassionate world for animals.
    Through educational resources and online communities we hope to:
    • support the rescued animals living at our sanctuary
    • raise awareness for mindful human-animal relationships
    • share more than 25 years of practical experience
    • support other farms, sanctuaries, educators and animal-centred projects
    • encourage compassionate and sustainable ways of living with animals
    🤚POSSIBLE WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
    Every stay is different and depends on your interests, skills and learning goals.
    Daily life always includes helping with the animals and general farm life.
    Additional activities may include:
    • feeding animals and supporting their daily wellbeing
    • preparing hay, cleaning stables and maintaining animal spaces
    • documenting projects through photos, videos or storytelling about your volunteer stay in Social Media
    • exchanging ideas about online education, fundraising or digital communities
    • giving feedback on educational materials or online courses
    • brainstorming creative ideas for future projects
    • helping in the garden and supporting biodiversity and permaculture projects
    • small DIY and maintenance projects
    • cleaning, decluttering and beautifying shared spaces
    The exact focus depends on the season, current projects and everyone's interests.
    Workawayers are never expected to replace employees, freelancers or professional service providers.
    Any involvement in educational or digital projects takes place in the spirit of cultural exchange, learning, experimentation and mutual inspiration.
    💫 OUR PHILOSOPHY
    Our daily life is inspired by mindfulness, respectful communication and personal responsibility.
    Many of our conversations and (online) educational projects explore topics such as:
    • mindfulness
    • conscious leadership
    • personal vision and business development around animals
    • meaningful relationships between humans and animals
    • intentional creation
    • the role of beliefs and mindset
    • the law of resonance, universal laws and related perspectives
    These topics are not dogmas or beliefs that anyone must adopt.
    Curiosity, openness and respectful dialogue are far more important to us than agreement.
    Many volunteers appreciate thoughtful conversations about these topics while bringing their own perspectives and cultural backgrounds.
    We also enjoy moments of silence, contemplation and simply being in nature.
    From time to time Frauke offers sharing circles, Satsangs or meditation sessions.
    We resonate with Law of attraction, Deliberate creating, Co-Creation at it's best, Eckart Tolle, Mooji, Gangajii and all that is 🙏
    💻&🌳 A UNIQUE COMBINATION: DIGITAL CREATION & DIGITAL DETOX
    Our mission is increasingly digital – our lifestyle intentionally is not.
    The farm has stable internet access, but we use technology consciously.
    Laptops and phones are not used in communal spaces.
    Digital work takes place in designated office areas or private rooms.
    Shared spaces remain places for:
    • conversations
    • meals
    • nature
    • reflection
    • connection
    • animals
    • creativity
    and self inquiry
    Many volunteers tell us that this balance between focused digital work and intentional offline living is one of the most valuable aspects of their stay.
    ⚠️ IMPORTANT AGREEMENTS
    • We provide exclusively plant-based meals (mostly) organic and live a vegan lifestyle.
    • No smoking, alcohol or drugs on the farm.
    • We cannot host families or dogs.
    • Volunteers need to be physically and mentally fit for daily farm life.
    • The first two weeks are considered a trial period for both sides.
