Description
Hi! I have a small farm/ranch with horses, llamas, pigs, goats, chickens, dogs, cats. I'm in Pine, CO, which is in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, about an hour's drive from downtown Denver. We are working towards establishing an organic garden, in addition to keeping up with the chores associated with my merry band of rescued animals. "We" includes me here full time, my partner here every other week, a son who is here every week-end and another son who is here about 10 weeks a year. My place has a special vibe - healing and nurturing - generated by the animals, all of whom are interested in sharing their peace and tranquility with the humans they interact with. Would you like to experience and contribute to the harmony of our inter-species family?

We live among interesting geological features in a forest crossed by a lovely creek. There is much land to explore and, in addition to my farm animals, we routinely see deer, fox, bears, elk, a wide range of birds, and the occasional mountain lion. Almost everyone in my family is a musician of some sort, ranging from pop-punk and EDM to country to gypsy jazz to classical. We believe in being good stewards of the land and being kind to animals and humans. We are liberal/progressive and hoping with every fiber of our beings that this sinking ship called the US rights itself soon.

Because my family is here often but not all the time, where you sleep may vary between bedrooms and even between houses, but it would be mostly in the finished basement of my split level home in Pine. I have a small house in Denver that's desperately in need of landscaping attention so you may spend some time down there. You will always have access to a kitchen (including a fridge) and full bathroom. I'll provide food. I love to cook but will yield the kitchen if you like to cook as well - especially if you can teach me new recipes or introduce me to new foods!

I can provide you with a vehicle for errands and for your use for outings, provided you have a driver's license valid in the US.
