Our family home is located directly across from the Kluane National Park and Reserve.

We are open to helping people practice the English language. Possibility of learning basic skills necessary for living in the Yukon. For instance, hands on carpentry, painting, gardening, farm and animal care and chopping and stacking wood, just to name a few. Also, helping with care to our large and small pets.

Help
General housekeeping and meal prep, DIY projects, small gardening, computer help, general maintenance, home sitting including light duty farm animal care for horses, chickens, pigs, dogs and cat.

The Village of Haines Junction lies on the edge of a vast and spectacular wilderness, and is a gateway to the Kluane National Park and Reserve. Located 160 km from the capital Whitehorse.
Summer activities include, but not limited to: river rafting, canoeing, hiking numerous trails, camping at beautiful lakesides, downhill mountain biking, mountain climbing, fishing, helicopter tours and a variety of outdoor summer cultural events.
Transportation to and from home base to desired activities is the responsibility of the Workaway guest. We may be able to accomodate depending on time and location of workaway's activity. Please do not depend on us unless we have made arrangements in person for a specific time/event
