Description
We are a busy, fun loving family that lives in the beautiful mountain town of Revelstoke BC. We have two school aged kids (9 & 12), and spend our time cooking, playing sports, reading, traveling, and giving back to our community. Revelstoke is located in the Rocky Mountains and offers easy access to world class skiing, hiking, biking, paddling etc. As a tourist town, there are lots of events for newcomers as well as many job opportunities in the hospitality industry. Our family loves to travel and we would love for our children to learn more about other cultures and languages, particularly Spanish.

We enjoying playing music, games, outdoor activities and cooking. We also garden, raise chickens and build things in our shop. Our hope is to find someone interested in doing some of these things with us. There are also many community events that happen in Revelstoke with lots of volunteer opportunities. We would love to help show you some of the best parts of our community, help strengthen your English language skills, and have you teach us your language (ideally Spanish).

Help
Both my husband and I work (he's a family doctor, I own a bookstore) and our kids are busy with after school activities. We often find it a challenge to keep up with household chores. We'd love to add another adult to our team who could help with tasks around the house such as yard work, laundry, dishes, light cleaning, and spending time with the kids if we are both working. We love to cook, play games and explore the outdoors - we hope to find someone interested in joining our family for these activities.

We love animals and have two dogs, so you must be comfortable with pets. We love to laugh, learn new things and eat good food - so ideally you have a good sense of humour and like to cook. Revelstoke gets a lot of snow in the winter, but you can get anywhere by walking, riding a bike, or taking the bus. There are many amazing sights to see near here, especially if you are interested in the outdoors. We have lots of sports equipment and are happy to share!
