  Description

  We are a family comprised of four people, with two children. We live in Sahún, a small village within the Valley of Benasque, in the Aragonese Pyrenees, which are situated in the Province of Huesca, in northeastern Spain. We like nature and try to keep a sustainable lifestyle. Regarding food, we are ovolactovegetarian, so the diet in our household follows those norms.
  If you choose to stay with us, we will welcome you with open arms!
  
  Somos una familia formada por cuatro personas, con dos niños. Vivimos en Sahún, un pueblo del Valle de Benasque, en el Pirineo Aragonés, que está situado en la provincia de Huesca, en el noreste de España. Nos gusta la naturaleza, y llevamos un estilo de vida sostenible. Respecto a la alimentación, somos ovolactovegetarianos, por lo que la dieta en nuestra casa sigue esas directrices. Si optáis por quedaros con nosotros, ¡os recibiremos con los brazos abiertos!

  What workawayers can get from their stay with us is, mainly, an immersion in the Pyrenees' rural life, which is characterized by its simplicity and serenity. At the same time, they will get to know the aspects of rural life in Northern Spain, the customs of its people, as well as the traditions and gastronomy of the region, and of the country as a whole.
  
  Lo que los workawayers pueden obtener de su estancia con nosotros es, principalmente, una inmersión en la vida rural de las montañas del Pirineo, que se caracteriza por su simpleza y serenidad. De la misma forma, conocerán los aspectos de la vida rural en el norte de España, las costumbres de la gente, así como las tradiciones y gastronomía de la región, y del país en general.

  Help

  Our current project is the planting of walnut trees for the reforestation of meadows that were once used for feeding the cattle. We are also in need of people who possess knowledge on bioconstruction, since we are rehabilitating a space within a house. As a further remark, people with certain ability in the field of masonry would be especially adequate for this task as well.
  
  Nuestro proyecto actual es la planta de nogales para la reforestación de praderas que antaño eran usadas para el pasto del ganado. También necesitamos personas que posean nociones de bioconstrucción, puesto que estamos rehabilitando un espacio en una casa. Asimismo, para este propósito serían especialmente adecuadas las personas que posean cierta habilidad en el campo de la albañilería.

  Accommodation

  In summer, workawayers can stay in tents or in a caravan. And in colder seasons, in a large interior space. The food will be ovo lacto vegetarian. We offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  
  En verano, los workawayers podrán alojarse en tiendas de campaña o en una caravana. Y en temporadas de más frío, en un amplio espacio interior. La comida será ovo lacto vegetariana. Ofrecemos desayuno, almuerzo,Y cena.

  What else ...

  Visitors can revel in the astonishing views of the mountains surrounding the valley, with its very rich flora and fauna, and the paths in the vast woodlands just a few steps away. There are many options for going on excursions through the mountains, either following easy, smoother routes, or harder ones with steeper paths. There is also the option of simply going on walks around the nearby Eriste dam, or going down to Benasque to do some shopping, eat, or just explore the town. The fastest way of getting here is either by car or bus (from Barcelona
  or Zaragoza to Huesca, and then to Sahun on the route that goes to Benasque).
  
  Los visitantes podrán deleitarse con las hermosas vistas de las montañas que rodean el Valle, que posee una muy rica flora y fauna, así como extensos bosques y senderos a pocos pasos. Hay muchas opciones para hacer excursiones por la montaña, ya sea siguiendo rutas más sencillas, o caminos más difíciles y escarpados. También se puede simplemente dar paseos alrededor del cercano pantano de Eriste, o bajar a Benasque para ir de compras, comer, o simplemente explorar el pueblo. La opción de transporte más aconsejable es por coche o autobús (desde Barcelona o Zaragoza a Huesca, y desde ahí a Sahún, en la ruta que va a Benasque).
