Description
Welcome to NZ,
I built this eco-house from earth bricks and natural timbers, because I wanted a healthy, relaxing environment.
It's on a 17 acre (6.7 hectare) paradise looking onto native bush, located in the Bombay Hills, about 60 km south of Auckland CBD and 12km from the bus stop or the nearest shop. When you arrive I can meet you at the bus stop if you don't have a car.
I've studied Organic Horticulture and grow our food that way, living a holistic, healthy lifestyle. There's avocado, lemon, lime, mandarin, banana, macadamia trees, as well as fresh vegetables and herbs.
Personally I eat an "O" blood type diet including meat, without grains and dairy, but I can buy them for you. Please tell me your food needs and style of eating as I want you to be happy. I don't know how to cook for a vegetarian but can buy the food you like so you can prepare your own meals.
I host non-smoking, drug free, health conscious people who are spiritually respectful of others space and the environment. If you are a `Freedom Thinker` then we will have some stimulating conversations !!!
I appreciate 5 hours work a day, help with making meals, cleaning up, and keeping the boiler going - in exchange for accommodation, food and a very unique experience in rural NZ.
Mature helpers who speak English are welcome, so they can follow instructions and have enough life experience to see what needs to be done and tidy up as they go. I like to have people around me who are clean & tidy, conscious and conscientious, , open minded enough to know that things are not always as we are told by the media. People who are fit and enjoy physical work.
Please tell me your previous experience and skills as I am not able to constantly supervise.
Are there reviews on your profile? If not, please email me your CV or character reference from a previous employer.
I hope you will understand that I put a lot of energy into taking care of my helpers, making sure their needs are met, food they like and that they are happy. So when they have 2 days off, I need 2 days off as well. Otherwise I feel like I am waiting on them, planning their meals, taking care of them while they rest, and I keep on working on the property. So could you do 5 days working and 2 days away or 10 days helping then 4 days away?
As I am sensitive and affected by shedding (transmission) of the spike proteins in the Covid injection), would you please tell me when you had your last one - if you had them. We researched and decided not to have them.
If you are applying please include answering the questions below.
- previous experience and skills
- date of last covid vax if you had them
- food needs and what you have for breakfast
- do you have a laptop or only a SMART phone

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
As I have been in 59 countries I am aware of different cultures and how they compare to NZ. For anyone who wants to learn about nutrition, metaphysical causes of health issues, quantum physics, freedom, what the media does not tell you, creativity or earth building, then there's a lot of wisdom here.

There's a variety of things we need help with -
- gardening, with an eye for making things look beautiful.

Accommodation
Have you ever slept in an earth house with an earth roof? People experience peaceful relaxation and sleep well.
You will have a room of your own - although which one I won't know, until I see the dates you are coming.
It might be a sofa bed or mattress on the floor. There's central heating from a wood burning boiler.
There is internet via ethanet cable in your room. We prefer not to have wifi for health reasons, but can turn it on for you to get your emails if you only have a tablet or ipad. What else ...
It is a 5 minute bush walk to the waterfall and swimming hole (see picture) and if you go there at night you will see Glow Worms. It's a 20 minute drive to the Miranda Shore Bird Centre if you have a car. A labyrinth in the garden is for walking meditations. Yoga exercises or yoga swing available.
There's an ol' mountain bike for exploring locally or it is best of you have your own car.
After working 5 days you can go away sightseeing for 2 days off.A little more information
