Kati and Jakob were with us for 6 weeks .
We had a very busy time during the lambing season and they were both a huge help to us.
Kati was hard working, eager to learn , and assisted at every farming task from delivering newborn lambs to puppy training and feeding all animals, both sheep and cattle. Nothing was to much trouble for her.
Jacob

This young couple are friendly, helpful and keen to embrace all that life has to offer.
We can recommend them to any host looking for help at a busy time.
We wish Kati and Jacob all the very best in their travels.
Left by host for Workawayer (Jasmin)
Jasmin stayed with us from June 28th to July 6th, it was for a short period of just one week as we are not very busy on the farm at this time of year.
Jasmin was a great help , always willing to help in any way she could and was eager to learn about the Irish culture and way of life. She loves animals and nature and we wish her well in her future

I spend a great week with Mary and her family.
I helped Mary with the household and some little farm tasks. But at this time of the year they weren't very busy, so I had a lot of time to go on the beach or hiking.
Mary and her (adult) children, who were at home over the summer, showed me some interessting places.
It was a great week and never to

Samuel came to stay with us on March 5th this year. From the beginning he was warm, friendly, interested in everything that was happening and eager to help out at every level. He worked on the farm getting up early in the morning and very often working late in the evening also. He is a most responsible young man and could be trusted completely to

While alot of Samuel,s time was spent helping out on the farm he was also very much involved in our family life, we had such fun and good " craic" and it is fair to say he understands the Irish sense of humour.
We would highly recommend Samuel both as a workawayer and for any employment in the future.
This young man has a bright future ahead of him and any host who welcomes him will not regret it.

Before coming to Clare Island I was in 5 different places and I definitely can say that I spent the best time of my travel ever in Ireland with Joe and Mary! They’re so lovely! They welcomed me as a real member of their family and their children were with me as friends! During my travel I always respect one rule - never come back in one place
… read more because I want see the much as I can, but with them I just couldn’t not see them more so after my first time I came back for 10 days more! Clare Island is all the thing that I expected in my travel in Irland! The landscapes are sooo beautiful, the ambiance is like in a little village and everyone is curious and nice with you! The work with Joe was also wonderful ! If you do a good work you can work by yourself and they will really appreciate your work and notice you! And if you work with Joe or one of their sons, I promise you that you will have great fun! Most of my work in the farm was connected with the sheep but it’s not boring and you have always something new and interesting to do! The house and the room where you live is really nice, from the house you’ll have a wonderful view on the sea and the mountain! Mary is a wonderful cook, so you will never be able to become hungry! They gave me all the time that I asked for having a walk and visiting the island! They like to spend time with you and speak about you and also share about them! All in all, I spent 20 wonderful days on Clare Island and I felt in love with the ambiance, the landscape and Mary and Joe!
Well whatever, go to their place if you want to have great fun, discover one wonderful and beautiful part of Ireland! It’s a place safe and with lot of cracks! But please don’t make them full because I want to come back see Mary and joe ; )You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
